Bruce Posted June 18, 2017 Share Posted June 18, 2017 Hi, it's been a while without posting here. Recently it rains 2 weeks here and I got a problem. When trying to start, the engine goes to about 1100RPM, then smoothly down to 0. Is it the idle air control valve problem? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If I hit the accelerator pedal while the revs are still high it will keep it running, though poorly, and giving it gas once the revs have started to drop off does nothing and it still dies.
