maddmark1981
. Drivers side door is freezing up and I can't get truck unlocked... What should I do? Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
RF600
I assume the cylinder is not working? If so take the cylinder out and attempt to clean it. If it is frozen you will have to get a new one and have it keyed to your current key. Until then crawl through the passenger side.
maddmark1981
It works fine when its mild but once it freezes up its impossible Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
Precise1
Take it out, clean it and then lubricate it with dry graphite powder. Either that or just have your polar bear pee on it to free it up as needed... B
Slartibartfast
I would recommend something other than graphite for the door lock. I blew some into the driver's lock on my '95 and I think it got into the contacts for the electric locking, because that system went from occasionally glitchy to full-blown psychotic immediately afterwards. It did free up the lock, but it wasn't frozen from moisture, it was stuck from years of dust.
ahardb0dy
second on not using graphite, use pure silicone spray, WD40 came out with one has a green label on the can. If flock freezes, you can try heating the key with a lighter
