hello i have a question or more like a problem, so i just bought my first pathfinder it´s a 92 XE V6 2WD Automatic a few months ago and just like a month ago my transmision started giving me problems.

So the problem is the truck has to heat up so the transmision can actually drive in Drive has anyone had this problem? or know what it might be? is it better to fix it or too replace the transmision?

P.S. if i put in in 1st or 2st it will advance okei, sort of...

Hows the rebuild holding up?

I'm in the process of researching and building a transmission. I'm trying to see what all internal parts are different and why and see if I can pack more clutch plates in to match that of the Xterra. I like the low first and second gear as the 2wd and xterra/frontier transmission run a taller gearing which isn't great when you switch up to bigger tires.

Okay guys, been a few. I now have around 6,000+ miles on the rebuild with zero issues. Temperatures are great, and it shifts fantastic.

Sorry for the delay. I have been swamped at work.
