BowTied
Looking to back up all of my owned DVDs/Blu-rays to my hard drive. I need software recommendations. The intent is to be able to play them from my hard drive to laptop or Xbox so the files must be playable. Tried Handbrake but it doesn't seem to want to play nice with the Xbox. Any recommendations or other tips? Sent from my shoe phone.
SilverPath
Of course for back-up I use Alcohol 120% However never played them on an xbox, I am able to stream them over my server onto my ps3 just fine though
BowTied
Thanks for the reply. Actually, my wife used to manage a music store that sold movies so we have hundreds of DVDs and storing them all is a PITA. We got a Synology Disk station with 4x 2.7Tb drives that will act as a server so we can we watch whatever on any device (in theory). Then we can store the DVDs we want to keep long term and turf the rest. Is alcohol 120% a free d/l? I'll check it out.
SilverPath
Sadly 120 is not free however they have a soft version you can try before you buy. I "received" 120 from a techy while attending school lol
