Just wondering if the lsd is a stamp or sticker. my pathfinder I just purchased a couple days go is pretty mint, no lsd on pumpkin so I figure maybe another good option rear may be out there? If so anything specific to look for. New to off road thanks

To check if you have a LSD; chock the front wheels and jack the rear so both rear wheels are clear of the ground.

Turn one wheel by hand and observe the opposite wheel.

If they both spin in the same direction then you have a LSD, if not then it's an open diff.

Cool thanks guys much. Have another question does the after jgc springs fit besides oem so maybe I could do a 5 in lift total w 2.5 in lift aftermarket coil for a jgc

So long as you drop the panhard to match, the 5" rear lift would probably work, but you'd never get the IFS to match it. It might work if you want to solid axle swap it though. If you want a big lift without completely redesigning the suspension, consider a 3" suspension lift and a 3" body lift. A few guys on here have that and it seems to work out alright for them.

Also the LSD label is a sticker... a ridiculously durable sticker.

Everyone I've seen on here that has asked about LSD, has found the sticker. You can also see if you have it by looking at the options when decoding the Vin number, which I can do if you wanted to see what the truck originally came with.

This is my h233b diff, the lsd sticker is said to be the most durable part on the pathfinder but as you can see it hasn't been there for some time, if that's the case then i'm in some serious trouble.

Don't think your truck has the LSD based on the info from your vin, here it is:

2egfa84.jpg

MODEL NUMBER =
WHLYD21DJFBU36

DECODED BELOW:

W = WAGON
H = VG30 ENGINE
L = LEFT HAND DRIVE
Y = 4WD SHORT BODY
D21 = MODEL
D = 4 DOOR
J = XE TRIM
F = 5 SPEED FLOOR SHIFT MANUAL TRANSMISSION
B = EGI
U = FEDERAL
36 = V/S SYMBOL FOR PACKAGES

36 = V/S SYMBOL - 32 AND SPORT PACK FOR XE
32 = DOES NOT COME UP FROM PROD DATE
JULY 1990 TO JULY 1991

THIS IS WHAT NUMBER 32 MEANS BEFORE JULY 91 PRODUCTION
32= 30 AND POWER PACK (POWER WINDOW
AUTO DOOR LOCK, ELECTRIC OUTSIDE MIRROR)

30 = AM/FM 4 SPEAKER ELECTRIC CASSETTE RADIO

It says your truck has the sports pack, this is what the sports pack should have, does your pathfinder have any of these opions? if so than it may have the LSD:

SPORT PACK CONTAINS, (SUNROOF, ALLOY WHEEL, 31-10.50R15
TIRES, REAR SPARE TIRE HANGER, ADJUSTABLE SHOCK ABSORBERS,
LIMITED SLIP DIFF, REAR DISC BRAKES)
