nunya
Where it bolts through the spindle? wHack the spindle (where the tie rod goes through, on the side) with a sledge, may take a few hits but will generally jar it loose
tdauria
Did mine this week. They were really stuck on there and didnt come off until i borrowed a pickle fork from autozone. Had to leave something like a $10 deposit no biggie and saved so much frustration. Good luck!
ahardb0dy
The tie rod tools work good as long as you are replacing the tie rod end, sometimes it can damage the rubber boot. I never had a problem getting one to separate doing it the way Nunya said, nice hard smack on the side of where the tie rod goes into the knuckle. tdauria
Oh yes definitely worth mentioning that! haha my boots were decimated when i was done to say the least. I guess if its as stuck as mine were chances are the tre's are toast anyway. I tried hitting the knuckle with a few different BFH's but it didnt do ANYTHING
ahardb0dy
Next time, try putting a BFH behind the knuckle than smacking the other side with another BFH
