If so that has been happening since 86.5 when the Hardbody first came out with the V6, Not sure on the V6 equipped cars as I never owned one. Both my 95s did not have any significant issues other than one with a slight tick when cold. The manifolds were straight enough to put on my friends 91 when he fixed his broken stud/exhaust leaks. Yes, I have heard that there was an 'extended warranty' up to 100k, but you better ask very carefully/get it in writing before hand. It might have expired simply due to age, but some dealers have honored it while others claim no such thing or total ignorance. I know it has been discussed here before so a search might be in order.
