Trogdor636
I told him it might be worth it to pay more to get it from him. There is a 1 in 10 chance I get a decent parts guy at my local dealer. I lucked out this time.
Tungsten
I agree the dealerships tend to hire the worst parts people they can find.
beastpath
So what is the part number....?
vagabond
I always open mine when I park during the day, every little bit helps getting the heat out here in so ca
Trogdor636
For the sunshade or the locks? I'm waiting on the correct locks to come in, but I'll have the part number in a day or two. Wrong part (same locks already on the Xterra shade) was ordered the first time, and the correct ones had to be shipped from the main warehouse in Tennessee. Trogdor636
Hit up Alkorahil for that. It will all depend on the color.

Trogdor636
http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/33545-hard-to-find-parts-for-sale/ I actually messaged him. Then I went to the local dealer and paid 6 bucks.
Tungsten
The shade is only $6?
Trogdor636
Sadly, I would buy one of those bags. I take my sunroof out a bit and would like a little protection.
Trogdor636
The shade is only $6? I just needed the different locks. He had a ad up earlier this year that had extra locks. An Xterra shade is like 100-140 depending on color. Pathfinder ones are 200+. Edited July 7, 2012 by Trogdor636
Tungsten
Yeah they are expensive shades for no reason. There are 2 different diagrams for newer and older years so maybe modifying the old one works.
Trogdor636
Same shade for a bunch of different cars for years and years. Alkorahil looked up the info for me, same part number for Hardbody, 87-95 Pathfinder, some 240's, I think he said some 300ZX's, and Xterras. Probably early Frontiers I would think. Only difference is color and material.
Alkorahil
Did you get the correct locks and get the shade installed?
Trogdor636
Finally. The part number you had was actually the one already on the shade, so I had to reorder the other ones, which had to ship from Tennessee. They finally showed up Tuesday. Its installed as we speak, and it definitely makes a difference. Its been 105 most of this week and its probably kept the interior at least 15-20 degrees cooler. Tungsten
A little off-topic but it's pretty cool how R50s have them as part of the headliner so the shade never gets lost.
adamzan
All cars with a factory sunroof are like that now Sent from my BlackBerry 9670 using Tapatalk
nunya
Yea, that's nothing new and ground breaking... Even at r50 times, just the style the shade is for the style sunroof a r50 has
Tungsten
I think Nissan didn't have them like that on WD21s because the pickups may have shared the same front headliner. Where are you going to slide the cover into on a standard cab?
vagabond
And now the even more elusive sunroof glass bag.... I found a rapist red one at pickapart about a year ago $10.00 if I remember
