Dieselboy
Would ditching the cat cause the ECU to start chucking problem codes at you?

Alkorahil
Would ditching the cat cause the ECU to start chucking problem codes at you? on a WD21 no, but you WILL fail any emissions test. on a R50 yes it will throw codes....lots of codes....lots and lots of codes.....code after code after code.... and so forth as you get closer to current model years. the more newer the vehicle is..more sensors, more inputs to ecu, more it freaks out when it isnt happy, throws a tantrum and turns the CEL on. Kafike
My cat is clogged and will be coming out. Nice to know I can at least get a few bucks. That can buy some beer to work on the truck...cuz you can't work on a vehicle without beer. Think that's a law .
