RedneckDave
Alright guys here's what I have so far.... I know I need ball joints, brake lines, calipers, hubs and gears for the front; anything else? As for the rear I only have the springs, shackles and hangers, so I need shocks, perches, tabs and gears. I'm thinkin of finding a rear D44 to make things a little cheaper parts wise. Mauitrailguy
Yeah, get rid rid of the leafs and go links.(just my opinion)
GrandpaX
63's are probably the best bang for the buck out there. The link stuff can get pricy and complicated... With that said... links rule! They just cut into the budget a bit. Edited April 23, 2012 by GrandpaX
tmoore4512
Looks like you are on the right path for sure... Although I would have to agree with links... opposed to the leafs... Are you going to run TRE's or heim joints for your steering? Drive shaft may give you a fit... Square tubing works wonders and if you go manual hubs it does not have to be balanced unless you plan on using 4WD at higher than normal speeds. V8path
Yeah I'll be plating the frame rails for the hoops. I used the exact same shock hoops but didn't plate the frame rails. I added gussets and ran a support tube at about 30 degrees about 1/2 way up on both sides of each hoop, and welded the support tube to the top of the frame rail. 94 Pathy
I'm drooling right now & soooo damn jealous. I sooo badly want to swap on my Pathy, but have NO idea on how to go about it. Tried talking to some friends & family members about it & they don't know anything about SAS's. I need to find someone that would help do the work, & I'd be more then willing to help & learn. Guess I'll keep looking/talking around & keep my fingers crossed. Hard to get things like this done when ur on a tight budget.
