While it looks cool, yo have to figure in it will make oy a little more top heavy and can suck if you NEED the spare in some situations. With the carrier it's right in front of you and if the sky's are dumping on you your able to open the hatch to use as a form of cover... or you can stand on your wet sloppy roof and throw down a full size spare and hope I dont bounce and disappear over a guide rail that and the factory carrier can take some weight on it And be careful hanging around Kyle...
