Airsoft anyone?

Ok, so I got this airsoft pistol from a friend, who says its broken... He says when he puts a CO2 cartridge in it, it all hisses out. It is a Wal-mart brand Taurus 24/7 Replica model, don't know exact specs, but what could cause it to just leak out...? I know there are some Airsoft nuts around here, just wanted to get y'alls input before I :crossedwires:

get a new clip or a rebuild kit for the clip. my cousin has a cheapo walmart one like that and it has bad seals in it, so the moment you break the co2 seal, it all runs out.

course, the ultimate solution would be, dont get something walmart....

Ah they have rebuild kits? The guy I got it from said that he was loosening the brass fitting that the Cartridge fits into on accident (ionno, hes an idiot) and he said it wont seal.

They are mainly just o-rings in the expensive models so I assume they are in walmart stuff. I've never dealt with them. Co2 has no lubrication properties such as green gas.

So take some 100% silicone spray and lubricate all the moving parts. If you can take out all the seals in the mag and leave them in silicone bath for a bit say 24 hours they will be ready to go. If not just pick some cheap o-rings up and replace them.

speaking of airsoft guns, I have a problem with one I bought years ago too. Only shot it a couple times and took it to a friends house when I was younger, he was playing around with it and it just stopped working. It isn't jammed as far as I can tell and nothing inside looks broken. I guess I can post pics of the internals if you guys want
