Tungsten
Just a quick question... Are there any alternative gauge clusters that will fit a 91 dash? I think MY1Path did something with one from a Nissan Sentra.
MY1PATH
allot of patence and allot of custom work is what that was. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=23011&view=findpost&p=410385 I can give you the rundown (if I can remeber it) if your really dedicated to the cause. Or I can do another... It took me about a week to get everything the way I liked it. Cold, limited drying space and limited selection of JY vehcles may slow me down. I'd have to give you a hobby price(low)+ parts & shipping. Oh and getting an un-broken 15yr old clear plastic cover would be up to you lol

GrimGreg
I think a guy with a Hardbody in NOAS has those in his. If not the Dakotas, then some other LED brand of gauges.
unccpathfinder
Just swapped in LED's (actually WheelmanLS1 did) but i carried them over to my truck and left the LH gagues standard white bulbs to keep it unique

Tungsten
those are the wrong kind of LEDs they create hot spots in the numbers you want 360 degree beam high power LEDs to notice any difference Edited December 23, 2010 by Tungsten

whosfinder
my idea of custom gauges is to use the stock cluster. drill out some holes for autometer gauges to be installed. kinda like a nascar dash.

nunya
I'm goein pink once I get me some white numbered metric gauges blue can be harsh on the eyes, to each their own though... Just think, B has a magnifying lens as his gauge cover so he can see em!
OldSlowReliable
I was more interested in the overall brightness...I can't read my trip after 5:30pm lol and barely read the rest of the cluster!
GrimGreg
would a 93 cluster work in a pre 93 or are the connections different? different 93 has an electric speedo too No it doesn't. Yep, 93 still has mechanical speedo. As far as working in a pre 93, with some rewiring it would. The plug connections on the back are different on the 93, but it still has the same square dash as 92 and older. 93 was just the oddball transition year, it had some changes, but was still closer to the 92 than the 94.
