Not sure how Obama fits into all that, but otherwise I pretty much agree

 

My reason for liking Obama is simple - he acknowledged he had a @!*%load to learn, and a @!*%storm to fix. He's surrounded himself with people that support, oppose, and critique his own views in almost all sections. I think that's a good start - if he can learn fast enough, he has potential.

 

Question is - can he handle it... and that's where I worry.

It is almost impossible to legally immigrate from Mexico. The majority of the illegal immigrants want to be legal US citizens, but as the system is currently in both Mexico and US it is impossible unless you are very rich. When our forefathers came to this country generally someone here in the US supported you. Now it is impossible for anyone to do that, the system isn't set up that way anymore. If you want to get help in Mexico good f'ing luck. The system is so messed up there it would cost you thousands of dollars to get even a work visa.

 

Anyone who says otherwise can ask anyone from Mexico and they will tell you the exact same thing. So all of you who say "Oh they're just lazy and don't want to do the hard work of becoming a legal citizen" can go f yourselves.

 

Very few migrants come here to do illegal things. But guess what? They will still come here to do illegal things no matter how hard you make it to come here. Those who want to be here legally still suffer.

 

No, you need to shut the f up. By supporting illegal aliens you are destroying this country. Illegals who work under the table, ILLEGALLY, take money from companies and don't give much, if any at all, back to the community. They then want health care, government aid, etc. No, that's bullsh*t. As was said above, it is not hard to become a legal immigrant. It may take time to become a citizen, but it makes you honest and able to become apart of the American cultural society.

 

I have a very good friend who's mother's family migrated from Mexico and obtained their citizenship before she married and had him. They all despise illegal immigrants and wish we were doing more to protect our own country and rights instead of letting them be crushed by illegals. In fact, they think any illegal seen entering the US should be shot on sight with NO warning. Again, coming from honest and hard working LEGAL immigrants.

 

Did you know that over 1.1 million illegals enter the US per year? That means that about 1 in 3 Mexican immigrants are illegal. THAT IS WRONG. Like GG said, go cry to your mommy.

 

Imagine your a legal Mexican immigrant in Arizona(there's a ton), papers please, what you forgot your papers off to jail.

 

If we only issued IDs to CITIZENS OR LEGAL IMMIGRANTS then we wouldn't have the problem, would we? As with any person in the "system," a cop can look up your name and know everything about you. Nice try. Until then, tough sh*t.

 

I agree that businesses whom employ illegals need to be HARSHLY punished through prosecution and the revoking of their business license. Like the lawn mowers. I'd imagine most are illegal...

 

I'm all for legal immigration. It's a way of bettering your own life and joining another society that allows you a chance to make something of yourself. You can give back to the community you've now joined. Doing so illegally harms everyone and is destroying this country from the inside out.

Some people in this country are too sensitive and unrealistic (not talking about you nismothunder). We are supposed to be like the premier country in the world, yet we can't get a lot of things together that so many other countries have together already.

 

on a side note about sensitiviy, remeber when tool kits for kids were real? Like I had a tool box my dad bought me when i was 5. It was a real kit for kids. Real hammer, real screwdrivers, real saw, real adjustable wrench and pliers. Just cheapo stuff for kids. Now you can't buy that stuff because some sensitive @$$ parents want to cry that it was "dangerous" for kids. Uh...no. I had no issue. Teach your kids to not be ignorant and it won't be an issue. Sorry, just ranting about stupid stuff...
