wilson
howdy, just wondering if anyone had used some remote reservoir shocks(fox, procomp, bilstien) on these trucks. seems the ability to custom valve them would be interesting to experiment with. any disadvantages, insight? GrimGreg
I know a few have on SASed rigs, not much need to spend the extra dime on stock, when a standard shock will work just fine.
Cuong Nguyen
^^^ as said. regular shocks do fine for stock to modded. unless you're seeing high speed desert racing, I can see some use for them or just want the adjustability factor to tune your suspension for the added cash. MY1PATH
x2 it can be nice on really heavy rigs & superlight buggys where specific valving makes a big differance but pathys fall in the range where regularshocks are fine unless you need high speed bump sensitivity and by that time you are prolly making many other suspension mods to allow it to multi-track that fast. why3zx
yeah, have to agree, the remote res is there to allow more oil therefore prolong overheating of the shock during long high speed desert or race type of driving. i know if i tried something like that in my truck shock temp would be the least of my worry....
