SC88Pathy
It is against most forum policies to discuss illegal software and where/how to download it. You're on your own there. You should talk to your friends and see if anyone has upgraded to the newest OS X and ask if you can have their old install disks (note install disks that came with the computer will only work on Macs of the exact same type: ie a install disk that came with an iBook G4 will only work on iBook G4's). DavefromOZ
My suggestion, gently place the said Mac on the ground, pour petrol on it and set that mutha alight. Then, when its stopped burning, bury it, at least 6 feet down. I HATE MACS!!!

Kingman
Exactly, because you don't get too many viruses with a Mac so you can watch porn all day long and not worry about it!
GrimGreg
Exactly, because you don't get too many viruses with a Mac so you can watch porn all day long and not worry about it! Viruses are actually super simple to make for a Mac, just no one that does anything important uses them, so no one bothers. Just like FireFox, it is actually more suseptible to viruses then IE, but it isn't really used by those who the attackers are going after. Hell, the worst virus I ever had on my computer was Quicktime (Apple software), I still can't completely remove it is so embeded into the registry. It nearly crashed my computer befoe I was able to at least deactivate the auto-start on it and manually delete the files for it.
SC88Pathy
Exactly, because you don't get too many viruses with a Mac so you can watch porn all day long and not worry about it! Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Not to mention being able to run Windows if we need to. But when you get tired of the viruses and instability you can run back to the safety of OS X. Most of the people who bash Macs either A. used one once, got frustrated when it wasn't exactly like windows in every way (and how could it be when all windows has ever done is just ape what Mac did last year), or B used one during the "Dark Ages," late Mac OS 7 through OS 9 (basically the time when Steve Jobs wasn't at the Helm of Apple), and haven't used one since. I have no problems using Windows, and I won't bash them (much). They're good for work and for video games. They're not without their problems, just as OS X isn't without its problems. Mac vs PC is about as dumb as Import vs Domestic. Not quite as dumb as Ford vs Chevy though.

GrimGreg
B used one during the "Dark Ages," If he went to school in California I'm sure he did, lol (I had to, *shiver*). I'm sorry, but I'll personally never go near anything Apple made, makes, or will make.
Precise1
Mac vs PC is about as dumb as Import vs Domestic. Not quite as dumb as Ford vs Chevy though. Well said. I think Macs (and users) get bashed more due to the cult like following than anything else. If he went to school in California I'm sure he did, lol (I had to, *shiver*). I'm sorry, but I'll personally never go near anything Apple made, makes, or will make. No, I was Root (system Admin) for the school's Unix system, a Dual 83/20. Mac Schmack...
