SteeevO
I'll be listing the 33-spline R50 shafts very soon. And yes these will fit with disk brakes if you use the retainers from drum axles. we have been doing some investigating here: http://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/forum/index.php?topic=962.
SC88Pathy
Any idea on what size tires these will handle?
SteeevO
I'd Say at least 37's on 31-spline H233B shafts I know Toyota guys that use chromoly axle shafts that are 1.31" in diameter and are running 40's and 42's with dual t-cases. The 33-spline H233b axle shafts are also 1.31" The 31-spline H233b shafts are 1.26"

SteeevO
i'd say you're pushing the limits too. if you wheel as hard as you say and you had crawler gears... i'm pretty sure you'd see a broken shaft before long Edited September 18, 2009 by SteeevO
packie88
im betting its a amatter of time... i normally used to play up at moon rocks adn funny rocks in the naches trail system... which is some of the best rockcrawling in washington.... so well see what happens. SteeevO
ok thanks for the input, It seems that everyone that wants a set won't be able to afford them for another few months... hopefully we can get this going later this year or early next year
Balmer
How's things coming with the 5:38 gear sets for the H233b? I'd love to grab a set along with cro-mo axles by early spring!!!

SteeevO
I actually found them. they are 5.42's. I'm trying to keep the cost down on them which is why they aren't here yet. The original quote that i got was a bit high but i'm doing everything i can to get them here at a reasonable price.
SteeevO
I'm getting ready to push the button on production of these chromo shafts. Post up if you're interested!
fleurys
I say push the button...:-) I'm not buying a set now cause mine are still up for the task, but if they fail, for sure I go with better than oem stuff...so you need to have them in stock (or at least in production) !.. Tks.
SteeevO
I pushed the button, but the manufacture is backed up a ton right now. They will be here in about 12 weeks! Edited April 19, 2010 by SteeevO
tekazgtr1984
I'm definitely interested in R50 shafts. Now I'm curious, though. Would it be possible to use these shafts and mount rear discs for the R50 application? If that's the case, I'll be buying these.
SteeevO
The ones that are in the works are the (W)D21 31-spline ones. i'll be doing the 33-spline shafts after that for the Frontier/Xterra.
