GrnMchn
Has anyone with a K&N intake or similar on a 3.5L had any problems with code P1130? It looks like you move the intake hose in the back of the airbox(stock) to the intake tube with the K&N kit? My mechanic told me the code is from me having holes in the fonr of my airbox and the vacum line can't get vacum once the airbox is no longer seeled. It doesn't make sense though if the K&N kit just moves the vacum line cuz it won't get vacum either.
wspinks
No problems here, I have had the K&N intake for over 10,000 miles. The airbox is never really "sealed" anyway.
GrnMchn
Thanks, Thats what I was thinking, dumb ass mechanics bug me sometimes. I wish I new more about electronics so I could fix it myself but it is going into the dealer this week for a new catalytic converter (under warranty) so I will have them take a look

trogdor
That mech made no sense at all. I have the drop in filter I love it, because if I get some water in there going through a big puddle or a creek it stay runnig insted if sucking in water, I had some past experiance with that, not very fun. Trancebear
I forgot to mention that the K&N filtercharger has 2 lines in for vacumn lines and my Pathy only used 1 of them. I plugged the other line.
