budman
Maybe It's the booze? But my 97 pathfinder seems like it's geared a little low when I'm running down the highway or around town with it. How do I change this and how much will it affect my off road driving. How do I find out what gearing is in it, I assume that it's factory is that a safe assumption??? 88pathoffroad
You can't change gearing unless you want to pay $500 per axle from Nissan. That's JUST for the gears, not for install or disassembly. Not one aftermarket company produces gears for Nissans.

And about no one making gears for us, what about the Nismo gears? You could go all the way up to 5.14s if you swapped in a low-pinion R200 up front like Keith is doing. turbopath
I'll trade you my 4.3's for your 4.6's....haha.
88pathoffroad
I stand amended. If you can find the diffs, you could swap centersections. They're still not that cheap. Ah well. *sigh*
