I'm new to pathfinders, I've been a jeep guy for years but the prices on jeeps has become ridiculous. I just picked up a 2004 pathfinder se 4x4 in December. I'm in the process of installing a 2.5 inch lift\leveling kit from supreme suspensions and new struts and shocks from Detroit axle.
Howdy y'all, I'm a southern virginian living in prairies of alberta Canada. Purchased a 97 pathfinder se klondike edition automatic trans(3rd owner, second driver) about a year and a half ago. 360k on the clock when I got it, sitting comfortably at 380k now with some minor maintenance work and some upgrades(brakes, bushings, plugs+wires, front bearings, lifted 2 inch front/3 inch rear, drive belts, and tensioner pulleys.) Recently replaced the harmonic balancer as that separated from its bushing. Still lots to do on my list of repairs but I am absolutely in L O V E with this vehicle. I plan to keep it as long as the frame allows. Be it engine/transmission replace or rebuild, or bondo repairs to rusted out quater panels. I've got potential transmission issues currently that I'm hoping to get a lead on but yielded no results when using the search function. Figured before I make my own post about my problems I'd reach out for search topics I can pick through to find the answers I'm looking for. Thanks in advance and glad to have found this community.
Hello all, Says I have to post a first. I am 60yrs old just bought a 97 in completely stock in good condition I have to change brakes, clutch & shocks. I was wondering where to get a new OEM clutch assembly (other than the local Nissan dealer)? The front tires are 235/70/15 rears are 31/10.15 (How bad is that's combo?) Tires are like new and I'd hate to get rid of either set I just put 500/5000lb hitch . I don't plan on doing too much offroading except what's needed around the property. I'd also like to get as much HP out of it for highway driving without doing major engine work
