[Code P0420 (bank 1)]

Hi everyone, 

 

I haven't had my Pathfinder very long, so forgive me if I'm not attuned to its anatomy.

 

I'm getting a P0420 code and will be replacing the O2 sensors first. 

 

My question is, where is bank 1? And is it the pre-cat or post cat O2? Or should I just replace all 4? I didn't realize that this thing has 4 of them.

[Dumb question regarding spark plugs]

Hi, relatively new here. My daughter has a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder SE with the 3.5L V6 in it. It seems like it is missing, but when I went to look, it looks like the plugs have individual coils on each one. The local auto parts store has coils ($$$!!) AND wires listed. I didn't see wires, but in that mess of an engine compartment, I cannot tell.

 

I'm fairly competent (I think anyways), but unless I am wrong, it should have either/or not both.

 

Am I correct?

Hi everyone,

 

I bought a 2003 Pathfinder SE 2WD about a year ago, and I was needing some info on it, so I thought I'd join to see if I can pick some brains. Lol..

 

It is pretty clean. Was just under 200k on it when I bought it and now it has about 212k. I've always wanted one since I test drove a 1998 a few ages ago.

I'm having an issue with it right now, so hopefully I can get some ideas.
