  1. @Slartibartfast

Thanks! My truck didn't come with any manuals from the PO, I believe he got it from an auction because there was still the auction tags on the key ring he gave me. It didn't start leaking until I pressure washed the @!*% out of the roof from all the tree sap we get here in Texas. I don't think it'll leak again, I did a pretty good job with the silicone install so hopefully all is well. If it leaks I'll just throw some flex seal on it, this is my wheeling/camping truck so I kind of abuse it.

  2. Hey everyone, my sunroof is pissing water all over the interior. It's likely the drainage holes but the previous owner destroyed the sunroof and it only tilts so I cannot get to the drainage holes. I never use the sunroof and don't particularly care to chase down parts and take it all apart etc etc so I'm going to just silicone seal the sunroof.

My question mainly is, does anyone know where the sunroof relay/fuses are so I can permanently mechanically stop the sunroof from opening after I seal this bad boy off? I was thinking there is probably a switch i can disconnect under the over head console.

    BONUS:

Also same question for the cars antenna, I never use it and just bluetooth music but as soon as I turn the radio on the antenna comes up and looks very 1980s.

  3. Wow!

Rig looks incredible. I love the meaty rubber, did you need wheel spacers to keep from rubbing?

Thanks man! And no wheel spacers, just 4.5in back spacing method wheels. I took the front mud flaps off and I did some trimming on the inner fender well plastic.

  4. Those Falken Wildpeaks look beastly! Do you have any any spacers up front or just the AC coils? Any weight in the boot? There looks to be very little rake and I'm jealous haha!

Thanks man! No sir, I suppose the spare tire might add weight. I’m keeping it on just to fill up the visual gap under the bumper.

I also think the 33in tire really helps fill the wheel well gap, there’s a slight rake and I was pretty worried but it turned out pretty good!

  5. Yeah the statement on the website confused me but now I can't seem to find where it used to say I needed wheels with 3.75" backspacing, I actually used your exact suspension setup as a guide to mine aside from choosing the 9447 rear coils.

After having the lift installed I plan to go up to a 285/75/16 with the stock 16 inch wheels if possible. I don't mind going to a 15 inch wheel either, 33s will look more meaty on 15s. My last pathfinder i fit that same tire with just a sc spacer lift so I'm a little confused on which wheels will work.

  6. Hey guys, any idea on the backspacing on the stock 16 inch wheels on the 2000-2001 pathfinder? Installing the front AC springs and KYB struts soon and need to know if I need to buy a wheel spacers to have clearance on the AC springs. Thanks in advance.

  7. Hey everyone, bought all my parts for my lift for my 2000 SE. So far I've ordered and received:

    AC front coils

    KYB Excel front struts

    LR9447

I just need to buy rear shocks, what shocks does everyone recommend? Obviously Bilstein is the best but it seems everyone is running different series of shocks and wanted to see what the most common used is.

Also, how likely is a severe rake with my suspension set up? Thanks guys!

In essence, 2" of total lift is max without SFD.  Preferred lift method is via springs...you can't bust CVs using only springs.    The addition of spacers increases likelihood of CV binding.  You can bust CVs using only spacers.

Where can I get more information on the SFD and part kits if needed

  9. Hey everyone, sorry for being late on the reply! The fix was as putting the key in the drivers side door and unlocking and locking and unlocking several times.
Thanks for all the help everyone, I’ll order a remote and program it.

I tried ordering a Nissan fob but I think the one I ordered was too new and wouldn’t program. I’ll order one of the ones from the link posted above as that fob is the same as my old 1998 used, I’m assuming my current 2000 SE uses that as well.

    Thanks guys!!

  10. At the ridiculously busy gas station with the windows down, I reached in to unlock the door and open the fuel door and my pathfinder security alarms starts going off at 35000db.

It won’t stop, and I don’t have a remote. I pulled the battery but as soon as the negative terminal is connected again, it goes off. I’m going to cut the horn wire before I go deaf.

Is there a sequence for the security alarm to shut it off before I go insane???!
