  1. Yeah I know, I was just wondering if anybody knew any third-party glass upgrades. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Haha that’s an old photo. I got OEM fog lights about three years ago to replace the little plastic inserts, but those did NOT last long and now they’re aged beyond restoration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Anybody know where I can find glass fog lights for my ‘99.5? Looking to replace the plastic OEM ones now that they’re all murky and cloudy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks! I do have the VG33E, I think the cutoff was ‘01 but not positive. It is in fact there on the passenger’s side strut tower. I just had a brainfart a couple days ago lol. Thanks again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Sorry if I upset some of the R51 guys on the forum, but if you want a tough vehicle that won’t fail you for a solid 200k miles, I personally wouldn’t go for an R51 Pathy. Main reason being the transmission, which is notoriously faulty. Plus, that’s not long after Renault took control of Nissan, so most of your build quality in an R51 tends to be slightly French-@!*%box-y. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It is labeled, and there is a fuel pump fuse. Maybe that’s a relay that’s just located in the fuse box and I’m just ignorant? Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Sounds like a hell of a project! Yeah man, update us every once in a while. Personally I love resto projects! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hmm, I have a fuse box in the passenger side of my engine bay, but I wouldn’t think the relay would be integrated into the fuse, at least not in ‘99. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Alright, so I’ve committed myself to installing a fuel kill switch on the ‘99.5 Pathy due to a recent trend in the theft of older cars in my area. I have everything I need for the job, and I have the breaker switch installed and some leader wires in place. However I can’t seem to find the relay for the fuel pump. Anybody know where that may be? I’ve checked and tested all sorts of relays in the fuse panel behind the coin tray, but none of them seem to operate the fuel pump. Thank you all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. That would be great. My Pathy is almost completely stock (standard Michelin Defender tires, stock fenders, original springs, etc.), so your measurements should correspond with my setup quite well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Alright. I’m not planning on hardcore offroading in the Pathy. It’s mainly for overlanding. I think I’m gonna go with Steve Fleurys spacers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks! Steve is great, I’ll probably do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. So I figured there’s probably already a thread on this, but I can’t find it. I’d just like to know the height of a stock R50 suspension. I’m replacing my shot stock setup, and while I’m at it, I want to get just a little more height out of it. Not exactly a lift kit with spacers, but just larger shocks and struts in general. Only looking for about an inch or two higher than stock. I don’t want to make it look obvious that it’s lifted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Wow, that's pretty remarkable! Must be an area with mild winters LOL. Here in Ohio, that beauty would NOT stand!
  15. Comparison: Stock R50 Pathy next to my buddy’s old 1” lifted GMC S10 Sonoma. Note that his truck is slightly LIFTED! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. Does anybody know where I can find the importation/exportation documents for my Pathy? I bought her from a dealership, where she was used as one of their Certified Nissan Fleet Vehicles, so I would think they had the paperwork, but I’ve contacted the dealer, the Japanese plant in which she was made, and even Nissan themselves. Nobody seems to have access to a copy. Any way I can get my hands on that? According to the VIN, she was made in the Kyushyu plant. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks for the info on the deflector! Yeah, my Pathy and I are from Chico, California. I drive her out there every year to visit friends and family. I’m always amazed by the number of Pathfinders and QX4s I still see on the road there! Trying to keep the old girl clean here in Ohio is a pain in the you-know-what. Complete and utter hell here for anybody who loves their car! LOL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Noted. Thanks for everything, and stay warm! Lol, at least it’s getting a bit better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’ve gotten that code before. It’s just a knock sensor, as others have already stated. You can go without replacing that if it’s just one. I’ve been driving without one sensor for a while. If multiple are out, you might want to consider a cheap replacement. It’s not a big issue, so don’t worry about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks, good to know!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. ::UPDATE:: After closer inspection (and a trip to the dealer [emoji2961]), the issue was resolved. It was in fact a timing issue, but it was only off by one tooth. Although the engine would start every time, it would always be thrown out of time as soon as I hit idle. I feel SO lucky that not only was it only one tooth in the opposite direction, but also that it wasn’t a transmission issue (although the tranny is quite obviously giving out a little). Anyway, thanks for all your help, it really saved me a lot of time and money! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah, that was my issue as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I know right!? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Thanks! Will I need additional hinges? I already have trunk hinges and glass hatch hinges. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
