  1. Sounds to me like your good to go. Let us knoe how it goes
  2. When installing the rear coils Theres a clip that holds the brake line and one that holds a breather tube. Disconnect both so you have enough room to squeeze the coils in without stretching. the lines. The rear was easy so i would take the struts to a shop and while they are buildingthem throw the rears in. Hopefully you have a buddy or 2 to help
  3. I wouldn't mind a winch lol. But my trusty shovels and come along have never let me down. Also its looking like there is supposed to be snow so it should be awesome!
  4. You could always pull the fuse out to turn it off lol
  5. So it appears that it will be raining the next couple days. If it rains enough im thinking of hitting gorman this sunday. Anyone else in? I have to test this new lift out lol
  6. When i did mine it was 80 or so with a nice cross breeze out here in cali lol. I would definitely get some mechanixwear gloves or something thick. Busting a knuckle when it is cold really sucks. But again dont forget i have a 175 pound weight in my trunk area so im sure it sagged it down a little. So my mmeasurement could be off by a 1/2"-1"
  7. This is true and if you don't have the spoiler i think you should just barely make it
  8. I will say take the struts to a shop to be built unless you have a wall compressor
  9. With this lift and 3.75 backspace. You shoulf be able to clear a 235/85r16 (32") with no problem. I went to 33s and had to do a little trimming
  10. You will need a 1" strut spacer added as well if you want to sit level. I just put this same lift on last week and in glad i did the spacer. It is well worth it. A fellow member here makes them his name is steve fluery. His website to the parts is 4x4design.com like i said worth the extra money. Shipping was fast and price is more than fair
  11. My measurement was a 1/4 inch over 6'3 to the top of the roof rack rail. The top of the spoiler appears to clear at 6'2 - 6'2 3/4. it is very close
  12. you are definitely cutting it super close. i am assuming my suspension has sagged as much as it should since over the weekend i went on a 400 mile round trip to the desert outside of a town called boron. got a bit of wheelin in while i was there. front fender height is still 37" and rear is at 36 5/8". now keep in mind i have a 175 pound subwoofer back there but when i first dropped it on the ground after installing the lift it didnt drop more than a half inch and has sagged almost another half inch since last week and my trip over the weekend. over all it looks like if you remove the actual roof rack crossbars you will squeeze by by and inch or so. if you went for 32s you would probably clear but not 100 percent sure. hope this helps!
  13. thanks karmann! it took a lot of research and trial and error on small stuff but i got the mix and technique down before i sprayed the car. it made more sense to make sure it came out good for that much investment. i may respray the sides in a matte camo tan then it will match my door jambs LOL. if anyone local wants it done ill spray it if you mask it!
  14. Thanks bushnut!!! Captandy the plasti dipping process isnt to bad. Mask all the lights and Windows and spray the whole car or whatever you want to dip. Then carefully peel the tape off while its still wet. And nova path i will measure it today when i get home. Its going to be just over 6 ft
  15. Thanks xxLoudogxx!! piece by piece it has been coming together. Been working on it for a little over a year. And kdj its funny you say that because my buddy peeled my emblems so they were chrome after i sprayed it as a joke and he almost got slapped lol i had to respray the emblems. I actually wanted to attempt coating the outter ring of the door lock but ended up leaving it
  16. In this pic the trimming was minimal just to get it home. Last night i flexed it and i ended up taking much more out. I removed a good amount of metal from the rocker to the rear of both front tires. After i clean it up and make it look better ill post more trimming pics.
  17. Yes i did. The factory color is tan with silver trim
  18. I plasti dipped it. Its been on thete about a year now. Been thinkingof maybe doing the sides in desert tan
  19. Here we go fellas. 2" ac lift and fluerys 1" front spacer and 285/75r16 tires with 16x8 pro comp alloys no spacers
