  1. It ended up being the links. The boots were blown to @!*% and the passenger side was banging around badly. So i replaced both. 25 dollar fix
  2. If the price is right az let me know. I did the cardones but i am always looking for better parts
  3. Also lmk wheb your down here im out that way fairly often
  4. Sorry about late response i didnt click to follow this thread. You should have a total of 4 cats. 2 mains up by the firewall and 2 in the middle of the truck then a resonator and a muffler. As long as you dont cut the rear cats off then you can either straightpipe it or buy an aftermarket muffler and delete the resonator. That is my plan very soon. The muffler will help with back pressure. I have read mixed reviews about straight pipes but you could certainly do so
  5. Ok thanks for the info fellas. I should also add that i recently installed ac coils and 1" spacer and replaced everything in the strut assembly except the bearing lol. I tried to jiggle it but it seems solid. I was thinking sway bar. It seems like anytime my car "rocks" back and forth it clanks real bad lol is it pretty simple to replace the sway bar links or bushings? Any better thab others? Maybe polys? Never taken it out before but im sure i can figure it out
  6. You canbythose boots seperately for real cheap. Also rock auto has our or coil packs for super cheap. I believe they are 60ish on there. I made a post about it a few months ago
  7. Thanks for the input everyone. I threw some cardones in there im going to look around the junkyards for a set of oems and rebuild em. Any way to tell oe from afternarket
  8. Where are you located? If in ca forget about bypassing a cat lol. Just go to a muffler shop and have them weld a new pipe in. Shouldnt be very expensive
  9. Is the sound every time i hit a bump in my pathy. Just replaced the cv axles with cardones new and they flopped right in. Could bea strut bearing? It only sounds like its from the right side. Any suggestions
  10. Hi everyone i know this has been talked about and i tried searching but did not really get a good answer. I have had this pathy almost 2 years. The boots have been torn pretty much the whole time. So i went and played in the mud a few times after i put the ac coil lift and fluerys 1" spacer and went to 33s. So i was doing some good hill climbing and my axles started making clicking noises more and more. Now if i drive on the streets aby crack in the street will jumble the axles and make a clanking noise so it is clearly time to replace. Other than ridiculous $700 oem axles (which i may try to source at a junkyard and rebuild with rockfords) whi h aftermarket axles have you guys had the. Best luck with. Rockauto carries cardone and empire i believe and napa has their own brand which is twice as much as the cardones. Any input is greatly appreciated
  11. Thanks for the reply everyone. I don't remember what brakes i used in front a buddy of mine owns s.i valves and ss motorsports. so he got me pads and rotors for $70. I may just have him or wilwood make me a set of rear disks
  12. I recently did they lift about a month and a half ago and have been driving this thing alot and have been on a few decent offroad excursions. The brakes are not so great on 33s lol. I did brakes rotors about6 months ago and Im sure the rears are toast. So is therr any better rear drum to replace it with or a rear disc conversion? Any help os appreciated
  13. Yes i am and im going to re plastidip it over the clips
  14. We are going again tonight at 630 WhEn im off work. My pathy a grand cherokee and a 4x4 tacoma are going

  16. Ok this is for anyone who removed or wants to remove their febder flares. There are these little clip holes in the fender under the flare and they are hideous. I found these at a local pep boys and all i did was cut a 1/4" off the end they fit in there very snug and snap in
  17. The last picture it was pouring rain and i was trying to not get my phone wet. It was hailing but melted shortly after it hit the ground. The storm was just 2 days late lol
  18. Lol ya it wasn't what i was expecting. If i would have gone today it would have been much better. I went to my normal pit in the far back and it was awesome. Unfortunately my tires were rubbing so much i had to take it easy. Fender flare removal is happening tomorrow lol
  19. Ahh gotcha how long is it? Thats a bit of a drive from me Bout 2 hours fifteen minutes. Maybr we could get an azusa canyon run going? That seems to be the middle for everyone
  20. All loaded up about to head out. Sitting next to my roommates altima
  21. I had really bad camber also. I got camber bolts for $20 each from pep boys and then did the alignment. If you have spacers stacked on top you will probably need them
