  1. Be great idea for hunting season. BUT might scare the innocent young people seeing a couple rifles or compound bows hanging on the Windows. Maybe if I tint the Windows wouldn't be so scary. LOL
  2. Iowa and the Dakota's are cheapest we've seen in the last week. 2.98-3.21.
  3. The only thing that scares me about the guard dogs are that they are a retread. The carcass are not guaranteed to match. You could end up with heavy-light tire combination on one side or on same axle. I'm going to be trail riding with this truck about 50/50 trail vs road. Don't mind some noise just not to loud. Thx for information.
  4. Yes. The duratrac's are really good in the heavy E ratings. Hvy truck. But are they as good on the much lighter pathfinders? Thx that's one for duratrac
  5. Need some input from y'all. I'm looking at some different tires to go on my 95 pathfinder. I'm not sure which is most trail worthy for Pacific northwest type terrain. I have been leaning towards the duratrac's due to my having them on my Titan and really like how they ride, but thats a full size truck. SO here's my list. 1) Goodyear duratrac 2) Goodyear authority 3) Mickey Thompson radial stz 4) Mickey Thompson radial mtz 5) Mickey Thompson radial atz-p3 6) dick cepek fun country 7) dick cepek mud country 8) firestone destination mt 9) bf Goodrich mt 10) hankook dynapro mt 11) fierce attitude mt I will be running around the 285-75r16 size. I didn't know the rims I have on truck are $225 to replace. So I'm not going to get new rims, just best possible tires in the $165-$235 range. Any and all advice or opinions will be greatly appreciated in my decision making process. Thx y'all. I will post the before I start the build and after. Once I figure out how to from home and this note2' LOL
  6. Never have tried the Kent yard. I drive past them a lot but mite be hard to get a 18wheeler in the parking lots. LOL I wish yelm had a good yard that would be close if it were.
  7. Growing up on south hill Puyallup I spent alot time. And $$$ there at meridian auto wrecking.LOL. MY first car back in 81 was a cutlass 442' I had a bad habit of racing all the time. So burned out parts faster than a 1/4 mile run...They used to be pretty good. But prices started to get a bit higher than I cared for. But you could still pull your own parts..
  8. I hear you, the private one I used to hit off canyon rd (out where the tornado hit Monday) got to be that way. They said to much theft was the cause for the new rules
  9. Not sure about that all the wrecking yards up in Washington are under picknpull . We have a lot of private owned yards in pierce county.
  10. I like the link, it gives you the choice of both searches. Thx for information. If anyone has a good link to get wrecking yard information throw it in.
  11. do you have a web site for picnpull? I didn't see one just for them
  12. Anyone have any information on HID lights. Daughter had them installed. They don't have a a hi/lo setting. I can't get the guy who installed the system to tell me anything as he is in jail. He told daughter it only has one setting. Does this sound normal.
  13. Roy/Eatonville area off mountain hwy. Work is 5-8000 mile commute. LOL truck driver. My daily driver is a 2013-frieghtliner. My backup Iis a 04 Titan and the pathy is my hobby.
  14. I can't get to these rite now, but if you're looking for spare parts look at the Lakewood pick and pull. They have five ,90-95 pathfinders. From what I see on row 54 web site lots of good parts. I'm going to be going October 16th. Iirc the website is www.row54.com. it works real good for finding a year, models you mite be searching for..gv it a try.
  15. Yepper. You had fun. What's up though with the none Nissan truck traffic..LOL.. just kidding, its always better to share with all those who enjoy 4x4ing.great video
  16. With all the rain your getting, you better have YOUR hip waders ready...LOL. mud,mud,mud...and some swollen creeks and rivers...wish I would be home. Your going to have a blast
  17. I will check both area's out, don't know about who installed the alarm. Was only told it came from dealer with it installed.
  18. That's cool, yea your right very well marked, bn going up there for last 20 plus years. Four wheel and quads. I helped rework the camp area few years back. Me being a friend of both hobbies, wheeling and hunting don't want any conflicts. Not all hunters are so nice. I know I have had more than one armed conflict with guys stealing my kill, 2 deer and a elk. Please have fun for me. Just beware of the armed idiots. One day I Will join in the fun. I am still long way from the pathy being trail ready. Right now all I use is the titan. Took it bear hunting last week and was on trails so tight I wish my pathfinder was done.scratch city....time for polishing and buffer..LOL. well be safe. Tread lightly.
  19. Thx for the information. I will check it out..
  20. That is the plan. Right now I've been repainting all the parts so they match, I have herd both good and bad. More good though. Been told trick is to go slow and make sure to torque every thing twice. Being a trucker I only get so much time when home and between the hunting and honey do list.
  21. I'm using the complete lift kit from 4x4parts.com,, comes with the Rancho shocks and the hd torsion bars. The shocks are the rs5000' same with steering stabilizer. The rear springs are 3 inch taller than stock. With a 12000 lb winch being placed in front I think it's all going to balance out..
  22. Same here, xe with tire rack, in process of building her up. Installing a 3inch lift with new springs Rancho shocks, torsion bars, uca, steering stabilizer and braces. Also have just replaced tune up issues. Plugs, wires, cap rotor, filters. New headlights HID. Styles
  23. You might double check the area for hunters. That is s popular area for deer, elk, bear, and cougar. The date you have up may be in conjunction with modern firearms season. I would join in as I live just off mnt hiway in Roy/eatonville area. As a hunter, I wouldn't want anyone to get hurt on accidental misidentification( are you a bear) mistake.since I will be working/driving won't get back for hunting or wheeling..bummer
  24. Where would I find that on a stock alarm. If I can fix it that way then it would be money saved..
  25. Any ideas about using the space under back seat where I hv a very small bit of rust. I was thinking of cutting it out about the size of 1+1 or that of a small gun safe. Weld in and seal. Then incase bottom in foam. Be good place to store hand gun in back country and lock up valuables. Could also be great spot for a hidden subwoofer?? Ps..I have a cwl for Wa and legal to carry..not a gun nut..
