Well, be home on the 24th and go wheelin with us at Tahuya!
crud crud crud... darn it I would have been in for a run if I could have been home. Started new runs with Do it Best store's. We be home on Sundays every week now. I might be able to get in a run soon. I'm sure that the old girl has it in her. We might need oars though with all the rain this week. LOL. Thx for the invite though.

After letting the 95 sit for the last 3 months, I charge up the battery and took for a spin. Still fun little toy. Just no time to enjoy the fruits of the labor.

I went with 16 inch rims instead of 15. My tires iirc are just over 10.5 at 10.685 per Goodyear. Metric sizes but conversation is 32/10.685x16. I have the Goodyear duratracs great tire so far.

Again, I would say the ac lift from 4x4.com would be a great lift to work with. I installed 32 inch tires with the 3 inch of lifting. I'm very happy with the results. You can see my ride in reader's rides under my 95 nissan pathfinder build. Or thru my friend's page. Hopefully this helps.

Check out the 4x4.com site, a lot of us have installed the complete 3inch lift system. It's a bolt on system with no fabrication required. I have a package installed on my 95 pathfinder and was able to do the whole thing in about two full days of hrs by myself. You can see the difference between stock and lifted really quick. It's a pretty straight forward install. Hopefully this helps you out. Good luck.

Didn't do anything to it per say, but the wife and I have been discussing the possibility of selling it. We will be getting a 78 ford pu from the father in law for free and am going to need the money to do upgrades. Hey free is free and it's only got 76000 original miles.

Started right up. The harbor freight solar-powered charger has been a nice little safety net, works really well. Put 5 gallons gasoline in so i can get it to the gas station for fill up. Started to pressure wash all the pine needles and moss off from sitting all winter here in the wet weather conditions, i say started because the stupid thing quit working after only a 1/4 of the wash completed. Hopefully will be able to get out Sunday for agood trail run up at Elbe off road area.

Licensed it. Drove to Dr appointment, pulled out the driving lights to install the nissan brush guard and low and behold the job is 2 brackets short, the member I bought it from said. .... it was completely intact and all braces/brackets came with, well as you can tell it's the chance you take when you buy unseen. ..back 2 the drawing board lol.

Pb blaster and a torch works in a bind. I confess though, I used my press...

Like the idea of a solar panel. Have a pic where it was mounted?
I have it mounted to the passenger side window. It's the best side for catching the sun where it'sparked. IIt's got suction cups and allows for moving it around as needed. So far it seems to be working good.

Added a solar panel charger from harbor freight, and bought a new cobra 29 Ltd multi led CB radio. Got a great deal on it. Normally cost $159 got it for $75 brand new, and still getting a $20 refund. Check out your local Love's truck stop. I am still working on getting the time to complete the process of adding the front brush guard

As long as you can reach the bumper mount with the tab and still be able to get the guard thru the hole in the bumper. I'm not home so can't go look at it right now.
-
I have the same thing going on my 95 and mounting my Nissan pathfinder brush guard. You most of found a genuine nissan guard. I still have to get the time to work on it, but plan on doing some custom work beefing the sheet metal and modify it for a more stout/stable mounting point. I've already got the fog lights pulled out of the stock location so I can get in there and weld on the front and back with a flat iron piece. I am also looking at possibly welding in a 2x2 square for a front point to add different pulling device's. I have a 12k winch ready for work and some clevis mounts for a good pulling point.

Agreed, correct oil weight is just as important as quality of oil, I run synthetic blend 50/50 from Castrol. I run it in my Titan, Pathfinder, quads, and tractor. Never have had any oil related problems. Heavy v8. Lite v6. . High torque in line 4 diesel, or high revaluation single piston. Can't hurt it, but can help with heat and lubrication. IMHO

Thats awesome that your range is that far. Im a beginner when it comes to radios. So hopefully this we be a great starter radio. Eventually Ill graduate to something more when the time comes. 6-8watts would be the max huh. They guy doing said 10-12. How can I be sure?
wow if he can get that much he maybe upgrading the crystal or power module. Just ask to see it on the meter along with the swr reading. Lower the number the better for swr 0-2 at max.

My wife picked me up a Cobra19 ultra 3 from walmart For xmas last year. I wanted something compact that would fit in my center console. Taking the cb to a shop to "P&T" it. Thanks I will ground the mount tonight.
welcome. My first c.b. radio as a truck driver was a cobra 19. Great little work horse. Good idea to get it p/t will get better performance. Just a FYI that radio has smaller crystals than most, might be able to get a few extra watts. Probably get 6-8 whereas a bigger one you could get upwards of 20 watts. Hope you have fun with it. Being up in the mountains you can get some fun skipping action on clear nights. I was talking to a guy in California while I was on top of Loveland pass in colordo last week 11000 ft level.
-
Mount will ground itself if you have it screwed into metal, however you will find that the c.b. will have a much better swr reading and stronger signal if you do ground the mount. What kinda c.b. do you run? Myself run a galaxy dx959 with standard and upper/lower side band's for a total of 120 channels.

The 2004 had new shoes installed. 265/65R17 Cooper RTX.
Yes, they do fit!!
same size I run on my 95. They are basically 32 in tires. I run wrangler duratracs. How are those cooper's. Almost went with them myself.

Drove to Elbe, bought a discovery pass. Went up to the shooting pit. Shot in my 9 mm, ar15, 30.06, & 715t. I guess I shot around 350 rounds. Had a great time. Then we drove to red lobster for lobster fest. Truck ran great and was fun to finally get it off road.

All due respect, the only thing that you really need to do is focus your head lites down below the level line. You will find that you won't be blinding the oncoming traffic and still get the most out of the lights. I have the hid lighting and had some of the same concerns. I adjusted the lights and nobody has flashed they're brights at me and yet I can see so much better than before. Safety 1st.You really need to know where you are looking/going and can only hope to do so with good lights. 55 watts are just fine and legal.

I feel for you sir. At least they didn't take the whole thingThanks man. They took about $1500 worth of my stuff. I found out they took my snowboard boots, my Whistler 860 radar detector, and they even stole the floor mats!!!
Give it to the Lord to get back at the losers and stay focused on getting your life the way you want it to be. I agree that the setback really sucks the life out of you, and I agree with the previous post, it's someone who has been watching your progress and is jealous of your success. You will find out, in the end you will be a huge step ahead of the scum that broke your truck and hope's. Just remember that karma is a *^itch and she is angry. .................... thx karma!

Not sure where ya got mustang, its a Subie
It really is a sight to see. I'm pretty sure that we ended up relocating his power steering pump, along with just about everything else. Took us like 3 months to do as well. Its a 5" downpipe to the cross over, and then 3" from the y-pipe to the rear end
sorry for the mistake, I was thinking of the (sti) mustang 5.0 it's a model like the Saleen mustang. So yeah I would agree that it would have taken a bit of modification to getthat sset up in a subie. I'm impressed. Pictures?

Is Harbringer boosted?! In that case yea, boost response would be vastly improved with a 3" compared to a 2.5" .. I was just saying that for the NA Pathfinder, you begin to lose scavenging effects for any after-header diameter greater than 2.25". These effects are negligible up until 2.5", where horsepower loss may be noticed.
I totally agree with you on the boost thing though. My buddy has an 05 Sti, twinned, and we managed to squeeze a 5" downpipe off of the turbos (don't ask how lol, it was a miracle) and the spool point moved from like 3200 rpm to like 2600.
wow! My 15 ltr 525 horse cummins powered semi truck has a lot bigger turbo than 5.0 mustang. & We're using a 5 inch system through out. Hard seeing that size pipe fitting.
