I just got my Warn's installed....took me about an hour......they stated that there is no additional lubricant needed.......Warn....Mile Marker......Hmmmmmm, I think I would go with the brand name that has been around and has been proven......Warn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no LSD for me.....looks like Lockright lockers for me.......comments?????? suggestions????? think that the lockright lockers will do the trick!!!!!!!

I just installed manual Warn hubs on the 92 Pathy......got them from Rugged Rocks.......three days and they were here!!!!!! Awesome shipping time!!!!!!!Simple install......However there were two bolts that didn't want to come out.....had to g3et a side grinder to grind the heads off........gonna test the new hubs tomorrow.....more to follow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone got pointers on where to get the bushings for the tire carrier? Or, at least, the easiest place to pick them up.

also, any places and brands better than others for the SAS?

the trails are mostly muddy and hilly.....as far as my particular HMMWV, it has plenty of power......yes the 5 tons ride on 46s.....I just had to steer the Pathy clear of the really big holes.......went down again yesterday evening and did really well again...... planning on mud some and also traveling to east texas and to a couple of places in arkansas to do some crawling

so, if I order wheels with 2.5" backspacing instead if 3.75", they will sit out farther.......

lower the number, the farther out the wheels sit???

so that makes the center of the wheel roughly .5 to 1 inches to the center of the middle of the wheel?????

so a 3.5 would push the tires out from under the fenders farther than 2.5

can someone explain backspacing to me in ENGLISH?????? I want to get my new wheels before I get my larger tires.......I have found what I want, but the backspacing goes from 2.5" to 4.5".....what gets them further away from the truck......the lower numbers or the higher?????? I know this is a noob question, but I am a noob!!!!!!

I recently bought a very well taken care of 1992 Pathy......It had decent 31X10.5X15 on it and otherwise was stock......i took it down trails that US Army HMMWV's with 37s and US Army 5 ton trucks had been.....it was a little rough, but I made it with no problems.......this thing is amazing.......I don't think my friend's Wrangler with 35s on it would have made some of this stuff!!!!!!! I love it and am currently planning several mods to include a 3" sl and 33s......and suggestions on anything else I can do?????????????
