took off the tire carrier......haven't used it on over a month......mounted the CB antenna in the tire mount place!!!!!

I washed the bird crap off, replaced a front marker light (NEVER wash a plastic lens with alcohol, learned the hard way), and gave up trying to remember which position on the hatch lock did what.

put some heat blocker material in the driver floorboard after the exhaust crash caused the floor to overheat!!!!!!!! all good now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

drove 225 miles from NLR to Bossier and then filled up.....17.5 MPG......WOW!!!!! 19 years old and still beats some of the stuff on the road!!!!!

Drove her to class and just now by the PX for some adult libations and then back to my room......didn't even get the engine to operating temp.....now, it's beer thirty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cursed her for starting to leak coolant again, I thought she and I had that worked out and she had quit that stuff for good!!!!!! I cursed her again when she turned the Anti-Lock brake light on for no good reason......I told her yesterday that I was getting her new shoes on Friday, I thought that would have made her happy!!!!! Oh, and it's beer thirty!!!!1 Whooooooo Hooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I guess the cursing worked.....no more coolant leak and anti-lock brake light went off!!!!! hehehehehe!!!!!!!

How long have ya been in, Im actually Navy myself, just figured you were Army cause I know that for the Navy there isnt anything as far as jobs go that just pertain to doing what you stated. Regardless though, good luck out there in the sand box, and stay safe.

 

Also so its relevant to the thread, I just finished tightening the screws on my valve covers, they definitely were all loose. Hopefully it fixes my problem though and didnt dry out the gaskets.

 

20 years and this will be my last deployment.....I put a quart of oil in mine!!!!!

I will most definitely let you know.....I am a oil change and tire rotation mechanic!!!!!!!I should be back around mid August of next year......I am buying all the parts while I'm deployed, and the wife is just gonna load up the garage with the parts...... I have a place for you to sleep and I will cook for you and feed you lots of beer....hehehehehe, after the work is done of course!!!!!! as for the military trails, that's a NOGO.....last time I was out there I got in trouble, but we got the Highlifter park with lots of trails and mud!!!!!!
