My only question is, are they front or rear JGC springs.....I have looked everywhere and cannot find that answer....I know that may be a stupid question, but they are different....Thanks, Todd

Got my Optima Yellow Top via UPS today... ...replaced both battery terminal connectors and got the battery installed.......ran wires to go to the rear cargo area to install a couple of cigarette lighter plugs.....one for my Streamlight and the other for whatever comes up... ...got two new to me side panels for the rear cargo area from the j/y to replace mine since I am pulling the ones with the speakers built in.....gonna build a platform next and put the speakers on top and put some drawers on one side and the sub and second battery on the other...... while at the j/y, found 3 JGCs....am going back to get the springs....I asked, and they are $20 a piece.....the lift is gonna come a lot quicker than expected!!!! Whoooo Hooooo!!!!!!!!

I took out the bolts/screws and worked the sealant loose and they both came right off.....sure did make it easy for the trimming with the side grinder.....

painted the grill rattle can flat black... ...bout to head out for National Guard drill for the weekend... ...when I return on Sunday, the front fenders are getting under body spray on the inside and the tension rod and assorted parts that go with it will go on.......then all four tires will be back on the ground!!!!!

got my new front marker lights in the mail, now just waiting on the tension rod and assorted accoutrements that go along with it for installation.....then maybe I can get her back on the road and off too!!!!!

Ordered the tension rod, bushings, washers, nuts and bolts.......hopefully she will be back on the road soon

Finished the external transmission cooler and new inline filter install..... marked the roof for the roof rack mounts..... measured and marked the chunk of steel that is going to become my new front bumper..... carrying that chunk to work Tuesday to do the cutting as I have no torch..... hmm, torch, that needs to go on the list of things to buy..... removed the stock fog light mounts..... bout to go start drilling holes in the roof for the mounts and get that rack on and then cut fenders..... whew, that's about it for now!!!!!

Soon as i get home, gonna install the external transmission cooler and new inline filter

Can anyone tell me what this broken part is called? This is the rear of the lower control arm on the driver's side.... I'm thinking that is part number 23 in the below image..... can anyone verify this for me? Thanks!!!!!

changed out the oil pressure sensor.....I think that will cure my miniscule oil leak.......we will see!!!!!!!

Changed the fuel filter....boy was the gas coming out of there dirty.....I guess because it was original to the truck!!!! Changed the rotor and distributor cap....they were both definitely original parts......Oil and oil filter change and K&N cleaning tomorrow as well as new plugs and plug wires!!!!! Looking for a little better MPG's!!!!! Now it's time for a new positive battery cable connector, when I pulled it off to do the dist cap and rotor, it had a come apart..... Also gonna try to finish up the roof rack this evening....only about 6 more cuts and a dozen or so more welds, grinding and then painting!!!! Pics will follow on the roof rack!!!!

Very nice looking ride....I am planning on rhino lining my lower half too, glad I got to see yours and see how it looks!!!!!

swapped out the window regulator motor with a j/y one......my driver window rolls up without my hand's help now!!!!! yeah!!!!!!

it seems the welds get better the more i drink...... working on a roof rack!!!!!

Finally got the timing belt replaced!!!!!

went to the stealer and got a key made since mine had a come apart.....with the key code that I had to provide, it only cost me 19$ and some change.....

I know, but since I was out of town I couldn't pick up the part for them.....and they can't run out and buy them since it's our local prison doing the work......it only cost me $30 for the water pump installation and it will only be $30 for the timing belt install......I know this question is gonna come up......the mechanic is certified.....he just liked to cook dope and got caught.....good for me!!!!!

well, considering I picked it up after they closed yesterday and didn't get the message till then, double work has to happen....

for now, picking up a new one in the morning, and having it put on tomorrow

Had the water pump replaced.....no more coolant leaks!!!!! Whoooooo Hooooooooooo!!!!!! However, my mechanic told me that I need to replace my timing belt, , but I have a good mechanic for great prices!!!!!

I would go with these here or they have a flat colored one.......call them at 877-260-5452...... mine r 3.5 BS and they work
