  5. Got the money for the exhaust studs to be replaced...now that i think about it, its the only thing that can be wrong with it now..Lets hope this goes well on Tuesday...

      That will fix most of the issues. The oxygen sensor is extremely important and it doesn't get the full reading with the exhaust leaking out.

      So far thats all i can find..it gets enough air flow, enough fuel, and enough spark. timing is all dead on except for dizzy being fully advanced because if not it has NO power..if its not this..im selling it. i cant afford paying 300$ for nothing... my exhaust tick is extremely loud though, and theres a lot of exhaust escaping...

      and apparently my y-pipe was nearly rusted in half... so i basically was running no exhaust with an o2 sensor barely even getting a reading?

       

  6. So i flexed out the Pathy to the most i ever have before..the rear driver tire was barely/if even touching the ground...so when i went to back out, the diff made a LOUD noise and barely wanted to move..so i kept on and t eventually backed out..but what was that??

      With Kove...it pulls on the cables and tightens up the drum...may have broke one of the loops that holds the cable too

      I cut those loops on mine. They were in the way.

      Actually..i think it was the parking brake catching..coz shortly after i felt a snap and it pulled out fine..i just looked under it and see the cable is now snapped..oops? Now i need cables on both sides..Thanks for giving me an idea on what to check :D

      There Remington in name only. But 50 dollars cant be beat. You couldnt buy a new car tire for 50 dollars.

  11. Finally..sheet metal + RTV silicone sealant + 2 hours prep work and now i have an EGR block-off plate! Now i let it sit for one hour and see how it does with the EGR fully disabled...

      you wont notice much, i think my mileage improved a bit and throttle response, otherwise it will run like stock :P

      i only did it because mines been powerless because of crappy diaphragms and low power..and..its still not fixed...time to reopen the no power thread..

      It's amazing what no EGR valve can do. :) You should be fine if you run a BPT valve though.

      I would run no EGR if i could disable the code for it. what does the BPT valve do anyway?

      Reduces the EGR operation significantly. The engine doesn't suck in more than it needs for cleaner emissions.

  13. Pathy is just falling apart..found out my lower intake was cracked..so had to replace it..and it still has no power! hopefully just a dirty gas tank...

      lower intake manifold cracked? wow i never heard of that...did you reset the ecu (unplug battery and leave truck for 30+ mins)

      Couple R50's in the junkyard by me, it looks like it would work, but my sunroof is too far forward. If you are sunroofless, it would work fine.

  19. Wow..after the first road trip with pathy..Had to nearly WOT it up all the mountains on the freeways..and just driving it like i stole it..i STILL managed 19MPG average and it sounds extremely deep now..

  20. 1995 pathy with a perfect frame and rebuilt tranny? How can i turn down a deal like that... After all having two pathy's is better than one...right?

      It comes on with the key :) Oh yeah, big defference..its weird because now i can actually hear the engine and not the fan all the time..but yes. it comes on with the key and i can turn it on/off as needed with my toggle. :)

      you want a little heat cushion for wheeling though but that's fine as e-fan is more instant than a clutch fan

      yeah as soon as the needle climbs it is already dropping back down again, those dual altima fans push a lot of air. i have never even come close to over heating and i go up some really steep mountain trails at very low crawl speeds with very large and heavy tires. its all in getting the fan controller set to the sweet spot for temperature.

      I use a altima dual fan setup, bolts up to the factory screw in locations on the top of the pathy rad ,then make your own bottom support. super easy. works great even with 3.3 swap and going up steep hills with 33s.

      really? im using the Ford Taurus 3.8 E-fan..heard that it's powerful and supposedly easy to install, but if i can find that ill use it! Thanks! Do you use a temp sensor or is yours key on?

      i use a flex a lite 20 amp adjustable fan controller and have both fans wired to come on at the same time with the controller
