X2 on the difficulty of mounting the xterra roof racks..much fabrication involved or was it simply drilling into the roof, bolting in real tight and then siliconing around the bolts to prevent water leakage?

Ok so I think I got the spring thing figured out. I want a stiffer ride, but don't have much $, so I would be able to get heavy duty/stiff springs and put them on with the struts/shocks now and i would have a stiffer ride? Would I feel like I am sitting any higher? thats the other thing i'm going for..
