  1. Note to cupples95: DO NOT STRADDLE SHIFTER!! Well, unless your into that sort of thing!
  2. That's great... just make sure they do it right and not just make it "good enough"

    Crunch

And trying to force jerks who speed up to block you from merging when you are doing it right! :furious:

Congrats on getting her back together... it looks great.
  5. Yeah, nothing to it. The hardest part is routing the plastic tube into the cab and that's not hard either Just make sure that you check it for leaks after install... although they are not likely, if you do have a leak you will want to catch them early so you don't drip oil inside your truck.
  6. I'll second that! I found it a LOT easier without the seat in the way... and it's only four bolts holding the seat down, so it's not like it's difficult
  7. Not sure if 88's came with this tool, but I have no bag and nothing under the seat... To be honest... I'm surprised my Path still has a jack, after all these years since she was new
  8. I have 31x10.5 BFG AT's also on stock chomes... however I have not yet installed my JCG Coils or cranked the torsions. I do have a "little" rubbing but not enough to worry about. Since I installed my custom idler arm brace I get vary noticable rubbing on the idler arm and brace when turning sharp left. But I am sure a lift and /or putting my other wheels on, will solve that.
  9. Ok I know I am one of the new guy's here, and have not yet actually joined NPORA (which will happen soon, I promise ) But how about making the shirts black in color, rather than white? I know many people like white but for general use, dirty/muddy offroad trips and nights that it's stepped up a bit more -alcohol- they "might" hold up a bit longer... aka show less  stains
  10. Yeah they are a dealer offered item. I don't know if any Paths or HB's ever actually came with them, but you can still get them at dealers parts counters... at least I have seen them locally. I would assume that you can order them if they have none in stock. They used to be on ebay as well, however do not see any now. There are also these This is how I solved my no cup holder problem (please forgive the pic quality, It's a crappy digital camera taking a pick at night)
  11. I agree that the dual trip meters are nice to have. I use the left one for a running total for each fill up (used to estimate mileage) while the right one is to keep track of daily and/or point to point mileage.
  12. Another place that offers them is Performance Accessories
  13. yeah... I think I'll pass on the Wheelin to the oldies idea... Rock typically (99.9 KISW and The Funky Monkey 104.9 are my local station of choice), but I really do have a wide range of music. If not radio then it's burned mix CD's. That was until my CD changer died on me. but it made it through 3 vehicle's and something like 10-12yrs, so I guess I got my money's worth. No matter what it is, it's almost always down low or off while wheeling.
  14. No problem, I ordered an O2 from them not long ago and had no problems with them at all. The sensor they sent me was a perfect fit and the tanks I've drained since installing, have shown better gas mileage.
  15. And here I was worried it was just me seeing that!
  16. If you have not already replaced your sensor, you might try Bosch4Less That link should take you right to the results for your truck.... assuming that the Canadian trucks use the same sensors as US trucks do. The prices range from about $50USD to just short of $97USD I am also not sure if they ship to Canada, but it might be worth a try... give them a call and see.
  17. That would be my guess aswell lol Welcome Erik
  18. You could try the parts stores websites, or your local parts stores. A few sites... Parts America NAPA AutoZone They might have something for you. Make sure that if they do have what you need for less, that it is still less when shipping is added to the total. You can (or should be able to) go with a direct fit or universal cat. Direct fits units will cost more but are easier to install. A parts store should be able to tell you what size inlet/outlets you need. Also before ordering make sure that your system has not already been changed prior to your ownership of the truck. In other words, verify the size of the pipes in and out of your cat and muffler.. don't want to order the part listed for a Path, only to find that they are the wrong ones at the time of install. Oh something else comes to mind.. have you called other shops? What about shops out of your immediate area... if you will be out of town any time soon, it may be worth it to have it done elsewhere ("if" pricing is better). Good Luck!
  19. Good fishing man, be safe and come back with a fat wallet and mod that Path!
  20. Something you might consider trying... Order the parts if they can be found at lower prices (which I am sure they can be) and maybe someone at an exaust shop might consider doing a side job for you. If you can it will save you some cash and put some $$ in his/her pocket.
  21. Hello everyone, the names Scott and some of you may recognize me from other forums. I am still fairly new to the Nissan off roading and forum world. I have had an '83 Toyota 4x4 for years however, which I have done some modding too. But this is a Nissan place, so... I have an '88 Path SEV6, that's burgundy in color... or whatever Nissan called it. Although it's still basically stock, I have done a "little" to it and of course plan more. Things I have done, include a set of ProComp ES3000's at each corner. I also have the steering stabilizer, but have not acquired the mounting hardware for it yet. A custom made idler arm brace (made by another forum member). A custom roof rack, well ok it's off of a Blazer but I did modify and custom fit it.. so does that count? I installed the rear belts w/shoulder harness from a '92 or '94 Path. Also this weekend I put in the rear high mount speakers and the front A-Pillar tweeters and trim panels from a '94... I am forgetting some things, but none that are major anyway. It's rolling on 31x10.5 BFG AT's currently mounted on stock chrome spoke wheels. I have a set of new Alcoa look-a-likes that I have to do some work on... all scratched up, w/some pitting as well. these will replace the wheels on my yota. Who's wheels will then go on the Path. I have been "planning" on doing that for to long now, I really need to just do it. Once that is ready I will be throwing in the JGC coils that are in my garage and cranking the torsions. At this time I may also install the 2in body lift that has been sitting in my closet for a good two years now. I already know that once I do this it will not be enough and a bigger lift will be headed my way. I've had this truck for several years, but am only now beginning to mod it. I had a lot of problems with it prior to now, somethings include a bad ECU, distributor After I finally decided to ignore everyone else and just replace the ECU, which I suspected vary early on, she started right up and has ran great ever since... currently at 285,746 miles. Well with the exception of the broken cam while going 60mph. I lucked out on that one, had the head checked for damage (was none) replaced the cam and a couple worn lifters and she once again fired right up.. first try even! Well this post is way too long as it is, so I'll stop here.
