  1. Your brake fluid is low, same thing happens to me when mine gets a little low. It doesn't even have to be close to the low mark, mine comes on when it's half full. The force of the turn causes the fluid to get to the sensor.
  2. Yeah yesterday the needle was almost touching the empty mark, and I only got 16 gallons filled up. Should be closer to 18 or 19 you would think. Also the needle dips to the "3/4" mark after 7 miles, and doesn't get to the half tank mark until 100+
  3. Wow a whole lotta changes! Congrats 88!
  4. Where exactly is the oil pressure sensor wiring? I'v looked but can't see much from above or from below. This flickering is annoying me keeps on distracting me from the road (now it only flickers when the road is rough, if it's smooth the light is almost constantly on). Also how hard would it be to install an oil pressure gauge? I know there was a post about this a little while ago but i can't seem to find it.
  5. Not with all of his hummers he's not. I didn't know about the no smog on diesels though. Hmmm interesting very interesting...
  6. I live on top of a hill so I don't have to worry about anything falling on me, except the house itself of course. There haven't been any quakes in this general area for a while now (knock on wood).
  7. Hello! Not very many Xterra's here! Just a bunch of helpfull nice people. :gossip:
  8. OK I have a solution to everyone's RPM MPH problems thanks to the latest Road and Track. In latest road and track they give this equation: RPM = (MPH x trans ratio x final drive ratio x 336) / tire diameter Note tire diameter is in inches. With some simple algebra you get the following equation: MPH = (RPM x Tire diameter) / (Trans ratio x Final drive ratio x 336) So all we need now is the gear ratios and final drive ratios and everyone can figure out what MPH they should have at what RPM in whatever gear! Yall are welcome.
  9. I really really want one! I wonder how much one would cost, and if it would pass CA smog (unlikely :sniff: )
  10. Wow it's MrJim! I thought you were one of those urban legends like crocodiles in sewers. By the way I'm new. I promise to join NPORA for real soon!
  11. OK now that school is out I'm finally getting around to getting the ball joints replaced. I have decided that I'm going to have someone else do it for me, but now I have a question; Should I get factory lower ball joints or after-market ball joints (specifically MOOG ball joints)?
  12. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The ULTIMATE mall rated accessory! All else you need is a chrome grill gaurd and chrome taillight gaurds and your set! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  13. Happy birthday! -alcohol- -alcohol-
  14. It depends on how many people view the picture and at what time of day. As Geocities is free you only get so much bandwidth alloted to your site. Too many people look at the image and bye bye no more bandwidth no more picture. As long as you have small images everything will be OK
  15. I use geocities, but whatever works works.
  16. The link isn't working for me. It could be that you weren't duped and just bought some worn out springs. Maybe you should try the JGC lift springs (the ones to lift a JGC that is) that we were discussing a while back, seems like they'd be less likely to fall out.
  17. Speak of the devil and he shall come! Today my stupid friggin oil light started blinking again, except now it stays pretty much solid when the truck is parked or stopped (I say pretty much because it flickers a little when stopped). :furious: BAD OIL LIGHT! NO! BAAAD! Ugh it's time for an oil change anyways and I have a couple of Nissan filters, so I'll see if it's just the filter. However I am leaning toward the bad connection idea as it started doing this as I was driving around "off road" on our property (it's a very rough tractor trail so it's off road in the sense that's its not paved or leveled and covered in weeds).

What about now, did you get an email now?! What about now?! What about now?! What about now?! What about now?! What about now?! What about now?! What about now?! What about now?!
  19. If it is the muffler bearings I'v got some real high quality one's, brand new still in the package. Now they're made out of a space age metal alloy commonly used in spaceships so they'll last a good long time and give you a nice throaty exhaust note. I'll part ways with them for $1000, a true deal! But it's a limited time offer, so reply soon! I accept all major credit cars and cash in small non sequential bills.
  20. Has the oil and filter recently been changed? Last time I changed my oil I used a Fram filter and the oil light blinked for a couple of days, after a week or so it stopped blinking. The peeps at the stealership said it was because of the filter and that I should use Nissan filters. Haha pretty sure thats just the parts guy hoping to sell some filters, however when you buy a Nissan filter you get one of those brass or copper (can't tell which) doohikies for the drain plug. It would be nice to have an oil pressure gauge so I could have seen why the light was blinking. (Really sometimes it seems like the people in charge of the gauges just throw darts at a board to decide what you get. )
  21. Mmm M5, I saw one of those on the freeway the other day It just looked so pretty and fast.
  22. Markheber, is your kid crippled, or can he just not walk yet? JJ I think you and MM are thinking of diff songs, same album but different song.
  23. Unfortunatly that's the 3rd gen Eclipse engine, which was smooth but nowhere near as upgradable or sporty as the 2nd gen Eclipse. That's another car on my list of cars I want a 2nd gen AWD Turbo Eclipse. Mmmm turbo -bounce- :cool2:
  24. There's always Junkyards/Pick N Pulls/Auto Dismantlers. As far as new one's try www.jcwhitney.com they have a large selection of replacement parts, however I'v heard some horror stories about them. I'v had nothing but good experiances with them personally.
  25. I'v heard in car magazines that glasspacks sound good on Nissan engines, of course they were talking about 4 cylinder car engines so
