  1. Yeah, have heard that. Am thinking about going higher though, adding 2" BL.
  2. I've just shot off an enquiry to decal maker, but I think the cost to send to US/Canada might be a bit much. Will see what they come back with.
  3. Definitely only makes noise when its in 4wd, hi/lo doesnt matter, this makes me think wheel bearings out of question. I have auto hubs, this was my first thought when it started, one of the guys said he thought that my fronts werent pulling me through the sand when he took it for a test run on the beach.
  4. Not stupid, but definitely not lugs, see below, no covers
  5. Hey all, got a quick question for you. Last weekend I headed up the coast for an overnighter on the beach, after about 5-10 minutes I started to hear a clicking sound coming from the front end, i was with a guy from ARB and he straight away called CV's stuffed, after thinking about it I'm not 100% convinced of this as normally CV's make noise while turning, these are clicking constantly, when they click. Sometimes they start clicking straight away, other times they dont click at all. I was thinking maybe the hubs could cause this? Might sound like a silly question, but I've only had the truck for a couple of months. I know the boots are torn, but if I can get away with just replacing the boots, I have a line on someone who has a set of AVM hubs that he can no longer use.
  6. Hmmm, ARB. When I went up the coast last weekend I was with a bloke who is fairly high up in ARB. He is giving me fairly decent discounts if I need anything, like the newish EZ tyre deflator, retails around $55.00, he will give me one for 40 bucks, but the valve stems on my rig a the short type, and his wouldnt work on mine cos the head on the deflator was hitting my rims. Time to change the stems I think.
  7. No idea mate, but was the first time in 10 years I tried them, wont bother again.
  8. Hey Pheonix, welcome. Always good to see another from Oz here. You will have fun locating people to supply aftermarket 4x4 parts for a 92, I have a 93 and when I called Repco for CV joints, even giving him their part number I was told that they cant get them. Most people over here don't look at the Terry as a real off-roader. I have located a place here in WA that I can get original equipment from, which is good. But not add-ons like lift kits (Mine was already lifted). Seems the US are a little more appreciative of the Pathy/Terrano, with alot of places doing aftermarket parts. If you can wait for them to be delivered, https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/index.php they have the most comprehensive stock of A/M parts for the early models that I have ever seen. Cheers Dave
  9. I'm pretty sure theres a cure for that now
  10. Cheers for files Pezz, having a couple of them made up, one with the NPORA font from the banner, another in a random font, but using the word MISSIN instead. Doing it so I can just unscrew the top piece and replace with different ones.
  11. Does anyone know what font it is? Will have this done in the next week.
  12. Just had a bit of an idea while slaving away at work, replace the original Nissan emblem with the one below. What do ppl think? Will have it done in 2 pieces, black background with the silver top piece.
  13. Just a quick one, for my alarm clock in the morning, I use my mobile phone with a rooster crowing. Its quite effective as I live in the middle of suburbia and there isnt any chickens near me. The first day back at work after the Christmas break, my alarm went of at 6am like it does 6 days a week so I can go to work, but I was still half asleep, lying in bed cursing whoever got chickens over the xmas break. Lying there yelling out for someone to shut the stupid bird up. After a couple of minutes, the missus elbowed me in the ribs, called me a couple of rather not nice names and told me to turn the alarm off and go to work.
  14. Cheers for this, after taking the truck out for its shake down run up the coast, I discovered that both CV's up front are shot . I am hoping the stealer will replace them under warranty/good will, but not getting my hopes up.

  22. G'day Cyril, good to see you figured out the image posting. For all ppl in US/Canada, I believe the 3.8 V6 commodore engine is the same as the Oldsmobile 3.8l V6 in the states. Should move a little better than the Z24
  23. Was wondering how I was going to mount the flag for Australia Day this weekend, that would make it so much easier
