+1 It's a lot easier to just remove the springs, remove the bump stops and then put in the air bags. Even if you manage to loosen the bump stops, you won't be able to get it out from inside the springs. Sent from my SM-G973U1 using Tapatalk

I found it to be really easy if you undo the panhard rod and "maybe" the shocks , and the bottom drops out so far you can almost pull the springs out without compressing them at all . Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I put airbags on an Acura MDX. I could have loosened the bolt on the bump stop without removing the spring. But it would have been harder than just removing the spring, and I couldn't have physically removed the bump stop from inside the spring. Then I also had to drill a hole in the spring perch for the air line. I swapped my springs on my Pathfinder without removing any components but the shocks. I got the subframe on stands, jacked the opposite wheel up a little and used a spring compressor on the spring I was removing. Didn't disconnect brake lines or panhard rod. Sort of. I've wheeled on stock wheels and highway tires before. 90 percent of the time I was in 2wd. I'd stick to dry stuff and stay off really loose stuff like deep sand. If you do that, I think you'll find the traction a non-issue and your main obstacle will just be ground clearance for big rocks. If mods are your thing, the right lift, tires and a limited slip should outperform most stock 4wd rigs.

I don't know of any food that will last if stored in a vehicle. The HOT- Cool - HOT cool cycle destroys even non perishables. I would keep a case of MREs handy under my desk at the office, and some in a "go back" or "day pack". and the pack travels with me from house to car, car to work or whatever. Or I'd even have a case handy at home, and then going on a trip, throw the case of MREs and a couple gallons of water in the truck. Food is just one of those things that you can't store in a vehicle for a long period of time, unfortunately.

It's all a continuum. A Nissan Sentra has some off road ability, just not much. I can't remember did 2wd of that vintage have LSD, or an option you got? That would help on loose ground. Your 2wd would do OK on rocky and fairly flat terrain. You'd want to skip inclines that increase as they go up. Also be careful mudding or loose sand, I'd say don't do it. Anything that's real slick but can stick you up if the front wheels can't help pull you through. Hard pack sand would be fine. And always have a recovery plan. Getting a cheap electric winch would be recommended if you plan to push it at all. And carry a shovel. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Thanks and Oh i don't think i mentioned this but this is what i do for a living...Upholstery/Restoration so to me this was quick.

Few weeks into it after it all arrived next up was installing the Audio etc. Was too lazy to remove it from the pathy after selling it so i just picked up the same Atoto A6 Head unit with a add on parts such as reverse cam, dash cam, external mic and wireless antenna. The only issue was QX4 didn't make a double din kit unlike direct fit in the pathfinder. So i had to come up with a plan to make something to fill in the surrounding space bc the stock HU was oddly shaped. Reverse Cam install was a breeze compared to the Pathfinder bc of where the reverse lights are :):) Pac Roem Nis2 Harness Tons of wiring! Took the truck home, swapped over the wheel/light bar from the Pathy and started cleaning everything, from de greasing the engine, washing it to carpets etc. also removed the driver side running board with your typical rusting. Considering the rust on it, the rocker panels were in good condition.Cleaned and Sprayed some fluid film) I had a set of non rusted running boards ready but they were silver so it needed to be painted.
