  2. I'm not familiar with the later models, so there may be some special trick I'm not aware of. You might be able to disengage the child lock from inside, using the other door as a reference for where the child lock lever is and which way it needs to move and a strip of plastic or hacksaw blade wrapped in tape or something like that to do the poking. Failing that, you might try a locksmith/lockout service.

  5. Thank you @johann_peralta. Using rear studs for the front seems like the right fit. If I do spacers all around, then I would need longer rear studs as well. So it sounds like OEM rear studs for the front and Iciba extended studs for the rear. At a few bucks a stud, might be worth to order varying lengths from Iciba an see what works best.
