  1. If you really wanted to do a TT conversion and you don't do a lot of water crossings etc. how about some custom top mount headers with the turbos sticking through the bonnet/hood (assuming theres room of course)? It might be a bit laggy but the sound at full noise would be incredible lol. Just an idea...
  2. A dental lab Unqualified dental technician. I make false teeth, retainers and stuff like that. Been there for 2 1/2 years to the day lol Hated my old job (car groomer) boss was an a-hole seemed he thought it would be more fun to tourture me till I quit than just fire me. A friend told me about the job at a health centre he worked out of
  3. 97 Subaru Forester Turbo Mods: Ver. 4 STi top mount intercooler, 27.5" Goodyear Wrangler A/Ts, Rage muffler, cheap mushroom air filter, and the best part: Rainbow horn with sirens and animal sounds lol Now a project (Very) patiently awaiting manual conversion after getting water in the auto 'box And a couple of offroading pics
  4. When I wash my truck in the river (its cheaper than a carwash ) after a bit of a play in the mud, the glow plug, battery and A/T temp lights come on. I don't go in too deep, maybe a third of the way up the wheel, coz I don't have a snorkel but I can't see why I would get those lights in such shallow water. Shoud I get the silicone spray out and douse everything in that? Is it too late and something expensive going to break soon? Or maybe its nothing and don't worry about it?
  5. Well I replaced the battery but it still went flat after half a dozen starts and it died at a busy intersection on the way home from work (gotta love murphys law eh?) I have charged the battery since and its working at the moment. I was told Nissan alternators have a tendancy to stuff a diode or something which causes them to lose charge when the truck is turned off and the battery is hooked up. Could that be the trouble?
  6. Thanks for your input guys I started it last night with jumper cables and I think its the battery. I tested it before starting with a voltmeter and got 11.8v and after starting it, it dropped to 9.6v and go lower if I used anything electrical though it would climb back up to 9.6 but no further. I tested the batt. just before and read 10.5. That would mean its the batt., right?
  7. In the weekend I cleaned my truck, including the engine bay, with a waterblaster, and it ran alright for a couple of days then yesterday it started as normal but the dash lights were really dim and the radio would cut out when I used the air horn. I later went to start it but all it did was turn over a couple of times then die. Now with the key in the 'on' position the starter motor makes a loud humming noise. Anyone have an idea of what might be going on?
  8. Ive got Warn manual hubs not sure if it came with them from the factory but I had to tighten a couple of bolts and the insides have what looks like dirt all through it. Plus one of the locks is a bit loose. Should I replace them or just take 'em out and give them a good clean?
  9. Ive got my amp sitting under the pass. seat with a 12" sub in the boot. The amp isnt bolted or screwed down, the wiring keeps it pretty secure plus you dont have to take the seat out to adjust it
  10. Hmmm... Gas Axe you reckon? I might just know where I can find one of them
  11. Is that it will or it might? And how would I remove them?
  12. Thanks for the welcome guys! Heres some pics of it: BTW I'd rather NOT be golfing
  13. Hi I'm Hayden I live in Kaiapoi in the South Island of New Zealand. I just bought my first 4wd a mighty 1991 TD27T Terrano R3M. It is pretty standard apart from 29" tyres and a CD player.
