  1. yea same with me, and thanks for all of your help man, really helped. ill post some pics once i get the ball rolling on this project.
  2. Yea, my goal is to get it to sit as level as i can, so ill be spacing it as i need to. One more question, how is the "knock" when the struts top out. im not thrilled that this is going to happen with the AC lift, but just how bad is it? and is there a way to use a rubber stopper or something to stop it from compressing fully?
  3. yea i was going to order the camber bolts as well, did your truck sit level after the AC springs were installed? iv read that without spacing the front struts that the truck will sit with the rear end up. thanks for all your help dude
  4. truck looks great man. thats exactly how i want mine to end up looking. and thanks for the advice. are you running any spacers to level the suspension and did you adjust the camber at all with the AC lift?

Hey guys, iv been a member of NPORA for a while now and for the past few years iv been planning on lifting my 2002 SE R50, but things have come up and it had to wait, but now that i have the summer off of college and the money to do it, i figured now is the best time as any to start this project. Im planning on just a 2 inch AC lift, with warn hubs, GR-2 Front Struts, Bilstein Rear Shocks and then just seeing where it goes from there. (bars, armor, racks etc.) With the lift I obviously need new tires, and thats where my question come in. After reading countless reviews, im pretty set on picking up the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. They seem perfect for my pathfinder because of the great on and off road ability, plus the rating for snow and ice, which is a big deal for me living in the northeast. I have stock 16's (six star spokes) on my truck now and was thinking about going with 245/75/16. The thing is that i want to mount the tires probably a month or 2 before I lift the thing, so if anyone knows if the tires will fit without the lift, or anything else they want to add i would be really grateful. This is my first automotive project and i really have no clue what im getting myself into. Thanks in advance for the help. Heres a current pic of it. pretty much stock besides a hitch, 10 inch JL audio W7 sub, and alpine head unit.

  8. o @!*%.. that sucks so bad ^^ My luckiest encounter was actually running from the cops. it was 2:30 am on a Friday night, and i was in my friends volvo 850 turbo and were were intoxicated. we were flying down a local B road doing like 90ish in a 40. and for some reason there is a cop sitting in a speed trap off to the side. We didn't see him till we passed him. We look in the mirrors and see the blue and red light flip on, and turn to follow us. at this point we are about to crest over a hill, and there would be at least 20 seconds of the cop loosing sight with us. So spur of the moment, we take a sharp right into a residential neighborhood that luckily we had a friend that had a house there. so we fly through the neighborhood, end up taking 2 or 3 weird turns to get to his house. at the end of the road, the road stops heading straight, and you have the option to take a left into the small street that ends in a dead end (which my friend lives on) or take a right and head back to a main road. we decide to take the left and pull up our friends driveway. we fly up it, turn the car off, and flip the lights off and wait. His house was the first one on the left after taking the left out of the intersection, and we can see the intersection from his driveway. Less than 10 seconds later the cop flies up to the intersection, but pauses for a good 45 seconds, looking around. At this point we thought we were screwed and he was calling for backup, so we look at each other and accept the fact. but, as we are about to open the doors, he slowly pulls through the intersection, and takes a RIGTH! Somehow he must have lost us, or didn't hear the ticking of the car cooling down on the driveway less than 45 feet from him. ------------------ Im new to posting on NPORA, but i hope i did a half decent job in painting the picture of the night i came closest to being arrested. and i hope it was a good read. Hope to see you guys around NPORA!

Warn locking hubs 3. 32 or 33 bfg BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO 4. and where do i need to get / determine what size or type of wheel spacers to get? again, thanks for all of your help.
  10. thanks buddy. ya, im looking to do the 2 inch lift, and would probably just buy one of the AC packages. are you running the rancho or the Bilstein rear shocks? And im going to keep my stock wheels. (same stock 6 spokes as your ride) but im really hoping to not have to cut anything off my car to make the tire fit. if i went with a 32, do you think there would be rubbing issues without having to cut, or should i stick with a 33 and make it work? thanks for all of your help.
  11. hey man. great write up. i have a stock 2002 pathy SE and im looking to do the same thing. 2 inch lift, bigger tires, etc... anyway i went to 4x4parts.com to find the 2 inch ac lift you wrote about. but im a little confused. in each suspension lift, i notes that "You must purchase aftermarket wheels with 3.75" negative backspace when installing this lift." according to your post you point out that you need a 4.25 or greater backspace for it to work. i was wondering if you could set me strait, or show me what im not understanding. and possibly post the link to the suspension kit you purchased. thanks alot buddy. sweet truck.
  12. yup, sorry i got it off track. and ya, lol i made a membership when i first got my pathfinder, but i have had zero money after buying a car and a downhill mtb. but now i have some income flowing, and wanna make the pathy a little better. the nissan runs like a champ. i love it. thanks for your help.
  13. ya, i went on to tire rack.com, and i entered my car type, and they didnt come up. some other A/T tires did, but iv heared great things about the BFG
