  1. G'day Brenspath Nice to see you here too! They're pretty helpful here and do some mods that we have never even heard of. Deepop
  2. Redfinder Is your signal stalk on the left or right side of the wheel? UNCCpathfinder Thanks for that John. I got the emails. I'll have a good look through them and see what comes out of it. 88pathoffroad thanks very much for the offer and I might take you up on it if I decide it can be done. GarrettQ Thanks for the diagram. The on/off switch on the dash is one thing I would need and possibly the wiring harness to go with it. I'll have to look. We are right hand drive over here and the indicator stalk is on the right side of the steering column. it appears from the link you sent that your turn signal stalk is on the left side with the cruise incorporated. I would have to see if I could adapt that. From the parts diagram you sent me it does not seem that there is too much involved in the set up. It seems that it runs off the vacuum through the contoller? The basic mechanicals of it seem to be relatively simple? Guys Does your dash have any indicator lights on it that the cruise is on and is operating? This is still looking like a possibility. Thanks Darren
  3. Just re done mine! I use the handbrake (e brake for you guys) all the time with M/T. The rear cables were !@#!@$#. The rear right cable was broken inside the sheath. The rear left cable was seized inside the sheath as well. Nissan want a fortune to replace them new. If they are broken find someone who makes cables etc. and get them to make you up a new one. If that fails there is a bloke in Woollongong in NSW, Australia that will make them up for you for a better price. reply if you want his details and I can find them and put them up here for you. He can get all the original Nissan sheaths and so on so you get a new bit of cable altogether. He also likes you to send the original so he can be sure to get it right - word of warning - get him to send all the original parts back as well. I didn't get the elbow joiner back but he swore he sent it. The cables are good and work fine and about 25% cheaper than Nissan with very quick turn around. N.B. - I have no affiliation with him and am actually still a bit pissed off I didn't get the elbow back. Good work on the rest though. Darren
  4. I also learnt the hard way. being right hand drive I also re-routed it to the glove box - but mine's on the left hand side. It moved pretty easily once I had taken the wiring all the way back to the firewall. There was one wire I had to cut and re-solder and that was it. Lucky i did too. Look what I did about a month ago
  5. What studs are you guys replacing them with? Are they standard Nissan Pathfinder? Anyone know why they're breaking. I've got at least one broken myself! Darren
  6. Can you post a photo of that? I'd like to see this. I haven't seen one in Aust. like that. Thanks Darren
  7. Started hijacking an earlier thread on a cruise control problem so I thought I should start my own. I've found out that you guys in USA got cruise in your Pathy's. We never got that here (factory cruise)! Could someone show me photo's of the switch and other cruise related attachments. Do you think it would be possible for me to source one to get sent over for me to install myself? Maybe from a wreck or similar. Thanks in advance! Darren
  8. thanks Yota187. Couldn't find it on ebay - not the smartest computer operator though! any ideas on sites that might show this 'unheard of in Australia' item? My mirror adjuster switch sits on a moulded plate hanging under the dash at the level of my left knee (maybe right knee for you guys). Doesn't it get in the way there? Darren SORRY FOR STARTING TO HIJACK - SEE NEW POST
  9. Thanks anyway. I'd still like to see it. Maybe someone else?? Darren
  10. Hey Alex How popular is the Pathfinder over there? I saw one in three and a half months riding a motorbike around Europe. Is yours a special import?
  11. Darren

    My Pathy

this is all interesting! Do you remove them for more articulation? Is there anyone in Vic, Aust. who knows about the legalities of this and whether your insurance co. will still love you.
  12. We have the two wheel as well as the four wheel drives in the utes, both two and four door but no Pathy's in 2WD. I understand you guys don't get the Nissan Patrol over there - very popular here. A standard tank in one of those is 90 litres and is apparently exactly the same fitment as the Pathy, it just hangs slightly lower. Even all the senders and everything just apparently plug in - straight swap. If you do have them over there and long distances could be a problem try and source one of them. We often have them getting thrown out over here when owners swap them for much larger long range tanks. Just a thought for you.
  13. Hey Vsicks! I haven't seen you on the PCoA since its started up again. How's your Pathy goin? I'm relatively new there and was hunting the recovered stuff when I saw my first WD21 there - yours.
