  1. What’s your thoughts and any info would be great! I’m wanting to park my car up and start to rebuild the engine or have a changeover to the engine. I would love to keep my my beast it’s a 2002 Pathfinder Ti Vg33e engine ! I’m looking for ideas on engines and what can fit inside. My fuel is a bit heavy as you would know if you had one. But now with towing a boat it’s hurting when I do long distance. Is there any 4 cylinder Turbo D’s out there which I can fit to my Pathfinder ? If so what’s the pro’s and cons of the changeover? 2. There just a bracket to stabilise that pipe what it’s on think it’s trans fluid running through . They bolt on with the Trans Pan bolts . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. Don't think there is mate, I've got the 2002 Vg33e and haven't come across it failing yet if there was one lol , just the water pump and thermostat I'm thinking . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I wouldn't drive it until you get it checked sounds like it's something to do with your oil pump , mine was lit up like a Christmas tree and I had a 2 klms to go till home it stalled on me and I ended up with a new engine the following week. Could be a small thing atm maybe just a connection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I didn't separate the balljoint on the steering arm I cracked the nut on the arm and backed it all the way out but made sure I got it close to the same position. Counted the thread starting from the inside. I still need to get a proper balance and get my camber checked after I greased up my wheel bearings and had one side which was sloppy. I had a post on here about a wobble in the front of my car not long ago I changed over my front sway bar bushes which helped but still had a knock when I steer full turn especially up the driveway or over bumps. Greased up the wheel bearings and installed them back in and solved it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah the noise is still there But it's quieter in the rear diff but i want the noise gone . The auto switch is something to do with my Transfer gear I'm thinkin and I'm going to get a check up on Drive tomorrow see if I can sort this all out . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I had some spare time today so I thought I'd get to my seat troubles to tide me over till I either get another seat base or just sell the car [emoji23] My back isn't doing to well with my drivers seat and I had my partner drive the car and I sat in the passenger seat and I could notice the difference I've trashed my drivers seat the sponge is gone plus the leather is just wearing out I need new leather [emoji53] So for now I swapped the seats over and it worked but it was a bit of a pain you have to pull all the copper wire pins out and pull the trim off plus the sponge , they have made it hard for you to just swap them by welding the fix bolts in different places . So if your seat is a bit warn out and you want comfort again maybe swap the seat bases over took about 40 mins but worth the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I changed my front and rear diff fluid today and put some Nulon G70 . Looked like I didn't have the full amount of rear diff fluid in and the front was very runny like it had normal engine oil [emoji53] changed it and put some Premium oil in and it sounds much better with the rear diff hum noise is much quieter now thank god. I've bought some Transfer fluid and a front rear Uni Joint aswell today so I can change that over the rear has got a little wobble but I reckon it's still in tolerance I'll change it over just to be sure it's not damaging the transfer unit bearings - I couldn't crack the nut to fill the transfer fluid lol it's a tough one Might just be the fluids I'll get these done in a few weeks but I'll just keep an eye out I reckon it's sorted [emoji106] I just went for a drive on the highway up to about 90 km/hr on the auto and it seems better. Thanks for your input on this it's helping me get my drive back to prime again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hope so if you had it running in auto mode just driving around would that damage it . I've been going in between 2wd and Auto on the open highway and even towing on auto I reckon . I'm thinking I've damaged it in some way . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. might be the front shaft uni joint maybe but I'll have to take it out to check it's not sloppy on the drive though only seems on the inside of the unit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Ok cool Yea I might give the oil change a go I reckon my mate said put some nulon G70 with the rest of the diff oil to fill it and see if it helps it . My Drives done 300on the clock now it's starting to show its age haha , but I must say I don't do that much maintenance on it. I've already had another engine changed over in it due to my stupidity in cooking the engine with little water and then having no oil in it the second time [emoji23] Should give my Drive a little more respect at times . Some of the Pathfinders on here are getting kitted out and there looking sweet , wish they would have more Auto shops over with the car parts so cheap so I could maintain it properly. It's very pricey for parts around here or shipping is more than the part lol Sometimes you have to go through The main brand dealer for certain parts and it's twice as much. I'll give the oil change a go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Ok guys so I need your help and guidance. When I put my 2002 Pathfinder in Auto and drive on the highway at high speed my front shaft seems to be playing up I reckon . I switch it back to 2wd and it goes away . I hopped under the car and the I can wobble the rear of the front shaft a little and it seems to be in the transfer case of it . Would that be my front and rear bearings? Would it be a hard fix ? And would I need specific tools or can I get away with normal tools . Here's the diagram it seems to be a bolt and a few bearings any one overhauled it before? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
