I have owned my 2001 LE 4wd for 3 years. I purchased it after deciding I was done with car payments. I used the car as everyday driver as trips to mountains for camping etc. I was always impressed how it handled fire roads. I now own another daily driver so I am finally able to do what I wanted to do with my Pathy. 2 days after I bought another car the tranny went out on the pathy. It's like she new she couldn't let me down until i had another car. She now has 220K on her and a new tranny, I expect her to go another 200K. I am so glad I found this forum to help me accomplish all the goals I have for her.

  1. Sweet thanks for info. I got the lift on ok... All the info on here made it possible otherwise I wouldve poured gas and lit the thing on fire! Here are pics... Roof rack light bar and stereo next.
  2. I have searched and haven't found answer yet. Will I need extended brake lines with the 2 inch spacer lift?
  3. No I will leave rear bumper. I plan on ordering an ARB front bumper very soon....
  4. Super stoked the parts have started arriving in troves. Time to get Dirty Warn Hubs Skid Plate installed New Belts for good measure New Inner & Outer bearings seals Spacers for the new Cooper AT 275/75/16 Bilstein 5100 4x4 Design Spacers 2" Still in route lots of cosmetics ie stickers, brush guard, new rack & pinion bellows, . I have a previous sound system I will throw in consisting of Pioneer deck JL Audio 500/1 D class amp MB Quart Mids & Tweets. Time to get dirty. more pics to come.
  5. I just found all my answers. Not sure how to delete this thread? Sorry still getting used to searching various words etc.
  6. Hi guys I just slapped new tires on the Pathy. I had Falken 265/55/16 AT on my stock wheels. A buddy warrantied them out for me knowing I was going to be lifting the truck. I went with Cooper 265/75/16 which currently sit on my stock wheels. I do have clearance from the bottom of the strut but barely any. The fender wells rub in reverse but ill trim that up. If I run spacers I want to be able to use Warn hubs. Some of the spacers I have researched say not for use with manual hubs. I'm thinking that 1 inch should do the trick? Or should I go 1.5 inches. Also if I buy steel wheels which I might what back spacing would alleviate the concern of wheel rubbing strut? Thanks
  7. Fresh out the shop. New/used Tranny. Brand new Copper AT 265/75/16 tires they rub but hopefully lift helps that. No lift yet but I have the kit from 4x4 Design. Armor is on its way. Warn Hubs on way and more. Stoked to have it back and running great. Oh new valve cover gaskets new bolts and pvc valve. .
  8. I have a 2001 LE and just installed cooper adventurer 265/75/16. There is very little clearance at strut. Its not rubbing going forward but it rubs in reverse when hard cranking either way. Did I go to big? Its currently stock height with all new shocks struts control arms bushings etc. No slack everything is tight up front. My bearings do need to be replaced. They were quite before but after leaving tire shop they grumble unless its tires. Any insight on this?
  9. So the process has begun and my debit card has hits it's limit for the day. On the way is the 4x4 design lift kit and front skid plate, Warn hubs, Bilstein 5100 shocks, Tomorrow I plan on purchasing a roof rack and possibly ARB bumper. Atleast it will all show up around same time I can tell wife its all 1 combo pack.
  10. Here are a few I have on hand. Not the best but trust me more are to come. She has done her fair share of towing haha
  11. Thank for the welcome. I will definitely get some before pics up asap. Unfortunately she is in the shop getting a new tranny. 2 days after I bought my new EDD the tranny took a shi*. Reverse stopped working and it stopped rolling in neutral . Aamco is doing tranny and the valve cover gaskets as they has a small leak for years. Stay tuned I will have her back in a few days.
  12. Hi there! I am also owner of same model here in northern CA. I am just starting my adventure on my pathy. I am in Roseville outside Sacramento . I go to forest hill area frequently. I look forward to watching your pathy develop and mine as well.
  13. My name is Justin I have a 2001 white LE with electronic transfer case. I used my pathy as daily driver until recently adding a vehicle. now I can do to the pathy what she is meant to do. It is currently bone stock. Once she gets out of the shop for replacing tranny I am going to jump right in. I already have tires on order and will arrive on 6/3/15. I am about to order a 2 inch lift kit today. As well a brush guard and rear light covers. I like the look. How about this I have about $2500 to blow on this truck right now what would you do to yours if it were square 1? Minus tires
