  1. I'm interested in clearing the front coil mounts with the offset, currently I have about 3cm of tyre under my front coil mounts at the top of my strut, horizontally, which I'm sure inhibits the preformance. I hope I'm clear enough. Thanks for the welcome as well!!!!!!!
  2. Ok, so I'd imagine that if you used a offset rim which is large enough to clear your front strut coil mounts, your vehicle would operate better offroad, especailly if you removed your swaybays. Has anyone done this and what sized offset was used, what tyre size, was there any stress put on other area's due to this?? Question prompted due to 31" mudders on standard factory alloys, no lift, 2-3mm clearance and strut topping out only on fast stuff. Cheers
  3. Just bumping to keep this thread alive. Also out of interest. Is a subframe lift is less complicated than a suspension lift?? Also in the sense of problems post installation?? Cheers
  4. I think, from a layman's perspective (ie. I'm no diesel motor mechanic!!), you really only have to change the seals as the bio-diesel rots them. Obviously that's no small feat. Have a quick google on bio-diesel. Also, why are there no diesel Pathfinders in the US??? I'm from New Zealand and have a 96' R3m with a 2.7 tdi and love it!!! :tonguefinger: I wouldn't contemplate buying a petrol/gas. They're not that common over here. I average 550km per 60-65ltrs with a mixture of driving conditions, sorry don't know the converse to imperial. Cheers Shannon
  5. That exact what I've wanted to hear!! Thanks!!!
  6. How about 96's?????? What kind of time line? Pretty please............
  7. Hope I haven't let the cat out of the bag?? My names defintitely on the list for a lift!!! It would be great to have a bit more height. Have you or will you experiment with the different tyre sizes with the lifted 97' R50???
  8. Here's a link, http://www.nx4industries.com/ I've emailed these guys a couple times and they're still sorting out the shocks, estimated price is $5-600 Canadian dollars. Anyone heard of them and their reputation??? Very attractive price in comparasion to most 2" lifts especially in my neck of the woods. Cheers
