Yeah i couldve crushed it but i needed to put another back in,obviously. Plus the starter was going out. I ended up having to drop the skid plate and pull everything out so im hoping the filter will squeeze through next time, i wasnt paying attention to it last time.

Update with my headers. Last weekend i went to do my first oil change since my motor swap and header installation and found out something interesting. My oil filter will unscrew but i cant get it out the headers restrict it. To get it out i had to pull the starter which was horrible as well. Is there oil filter relocation kits for the vgs?

I was gonna ask about the seal. If ones not included then what should i do?

Sweet, ill probably be buying one here soon. Do you know exacly how they mount? Im guessing through where the 4x4 badges mount?

Ive been looking for one of the rare and elusive factory light bars and stumbled across some sites selling what i think are them but im unsure, there's no pictures just a part number and i dont know the number to confirm. Hoping one of you might know more than me, heres one of the sites http://www.nissanpartsconnection.com/OEMParts/nissan-142/9/999F3W7000.html

The previous owner owned an exhaust shop so nothing was factory except manifolds, required some creativity. Im happy though, they look clean and i used stainless bolts so no more studs .

I just put a set of pacesetters off a 93 on my 88 and my only problem was the collector runs under the tranny pan to avoid the o2 sensor so dropping the pan isnt gonna happen without cutting. And i just capped egr.

How much more work would that entail?

I was looking yesterday at the dif and how its bolted in, it looks pretty straight forward, which means im probably missing something lol. But for where the dif bolts to crossmember, those three bolts are just round. Do i have to drill or am i missing something? Thanks -

When i replaced a head, im pretty sure i pulled the replacement off of a 95. So in that case, i think youre correct about them staying the same. I just want to be sure the motor will bolt up and not be all out of wack. The other thing im curious about is if all the pulleys and accesories on the front of the motor are in the same place or if its all different. I dont know if it went serpentine or if they just moved stuff around. Thanks -
Hey guys, im a bit new here so have patience with me. Last night i locked my motor up, im guessing from a bent rod, and have decided to go with a J/Y motor. A local yard has a vg30e out of a 95 pathfinder and since i havent mastered searching the forum, im going to ask it outright: can i swap my vg30i intake onto the vg30e and drop it in? I dont see why not but i want to be sure. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Local junkyard has a 95 vg30e listed for $330, doesnt list the mileage, would have to call to find out. Does this seem like a good idea, as long as i can swap the intake? Thanks again.
