ok fellow pathfinder's..got the new replacement alt for "big rusty" (our sons pet name for our pathfinder)..this one is the 70 amp not the 60amp that napa gave me the first.. the battery light is gone..lol..dont know why the 60 amp alt would cause this oddity but replace it with the right one and problem solved..so fyi...dont put a 60 in your pathy if its an automatic trans..and thanks again for all the input guys..

checked and cleaned up replaced the terminal replacing the alt in the morning..hoping it fixes it..thanks for all the advice..and keep it coming..I will let you goes know if it fixed it..

hmmm..so what could be causing my battery light to come on after i turn the car off..and the maxima one does fit and is cheaper but the pulley is not the right size ..and napa does carry the right size the one off the core alt is worn out probably the original ...so ? just paying the extra $$ to get the one that doesnt need tweeking on "pulley" back back to the battery light...I'm not a mechanic by any means or an electrician..so help me out ..I have checked wires contections battery its self , the hook up of the alt everything i could think of..other then the computer itself..see if its having a code pop up..

so after looking at the old vs. new alt..i realized that the guys at napa sold me a 60 amp vs the 70amp that i took out I'm thinking this might have something to do with the problem so pulled it back out but the new and what I'm sure is the right one wont be here till Tuesday morning..what do you guys think? oh..and now that i have drove it on a 60 amp..is there anything that i should be worried about..like fuses or ANY other electrical issues that I should be concerned with or check..and thanks guys for all the help..(oh and the first post i made a type o..wasnt on while running) the light is only on when i turn it off...

ok.. my battery light a/t oil temp light and brake light all came on the other day..alternator right ...so replaced with napa alt..didnt look exactly like the one i took out but they said thats was the right one..put it in started it up everything worked fine ..turned it off and the battery light came on..was on while it was running ..asked napa wtf.. they are clueless so ..tested the battery checked out fine ..so any idea what isnt right,,

hey guys. I have been wanting to do this for awhile now and .I just found a intake manifold for this project..super stoked to hear that a chevy hei distributor works for this project..can you give me a part number or something i can tell the y guy at the parts counter..lol

my 90 pathy has stated to give me a stutter at stop lights,,once in awhile will die ..will idle normal and the start to drop a few hundred rpms then norm the back down..does this pretty fast..like a stutter..twice now while driving will it stutter fo a sec ..then run fine..any ideas? any and all help would be great..thinking it might be the fuel pressure regulator? but not shure..it will idle all day in park and not have an issue ..

sorry about posting this here, anyone know if a 93 intrument cluster will work in a 90..it looks the same size and shape..just dont know if the plugs in the back will work
