  1. Yeah I have considered Steve's spacers. Seems the easiest without breaking the bank! Does any one use his spacers? Do they work with the AC lift for a few inches or is it one or the other?

  3. First off, I have researched the pinned topics and am still a little lost. Any help would be appreciated. As far as my lift question, is there a thread that has a detailed parts list of what I need for the 2"AC lift and where I can purchase the parts? I know that there are a few options as far as brands of shocks/struts and what not. Also, I have the 5-speed pathy. Will the lift effect my shift, steering linkage or brake lines? I have seen a few members that have went with an XJ steel front bumper. Do they just mount right up or will I need to break out the welder? I found the XRC by Smitty Built for $100 bucks. Thanks for any tips or help! Sorry if I missed the threads that answer these questions. Cheers
  4. Hello to all, My name is Nick Herman from the foothills/mountains of North Carolina. This is the first forum I have joined so bare with me if I sound like an idiot. I have a 1999.5 Pathfinder SE Limited, 3.3L, 5 speed, 4x4 with relatively low miles (140k). I purchased her in October of last year with 131k and have enjoyed every minute in the driver seat. I found NPORA while trying to find a lift kit (practically impossible) but after reading through a few threads I have gotten the gist of how to piece one together. I have basically put only mods that a high schooler could think of, HIDs, new door speakers, double din head unit and subwoofer and a Yakima basket for camping weather and the Powderhound for my snowboarding adventures. The only thing I do not like about my Pathy is that while in fifth gear goin' 70 mph down the interstate, she is turning a hair over 3000 RPMs. Is this normal? Seems a little high to me. Possibly my model has an odd gear ratio? Either way, Glad to be a member and hope to post as often as I can! -Nick
