  1. I can only hope for 13 mpg on my 24 year old pathy... but you may want to check the catalytic... sometimes just a slight clog will ruin fuel consumption... my other guesses would be to do what you've already done... also, mileage depends on what kind of driving you do... if it's mostly city, you're lucky to be getting that much, if it's a mix city/highway, then that's probably about average... also a lot of hills will kill consumption... not much more you can do without tearing apart the engine and transmission and rebuilding both just for a few more extra mpgs... not worth the cost Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk
  2. And also has the contoured brush guard winch mount... my dumb ass thought it was a platform for fogs... now I must find a winch and remove the fogs I installed... lol Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk
  3. Loving this link bro... Now I know that I have the sport package for my 1990 SE... and almost every available option except for 2 tone paint... Thanks for the info Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk
  4. Cheap fix for the squealing noise on new brake pads is lube on the pad, not the friction side, but the side the piston squeezes on it, duh lol... also, you don't necessarily have to do rotors in pairs, but from my experience with my pathy, a rotor that's been damaged and the other side is fine means an issue with the caliper... you may want to look into rebuilding it which is fairly straight forward and cheaper than buying a new or rebuilt one... had to change all 4 corners, 1 rotor and 1 caliper due to damage beyond repair... front rotors are a bitch to replace with the auto locking hubs... 5. This is what I did with my Malibu instead of using a blank plastic spacer for the gap in the 'din and a half' space... mdf, some fiberglass and paint
  6. If done right, the mdf would only be a frame with fiberglass giving you the finished look... I only suggested the mdf because it's easier to obtain and work with if you're not familiar with working with metal or plastic
  7. I actually just saw a new pathy today, and I was saying to myself wow, they really beefed up the murano, then saw the pathfinder badge and just shook my head...
  8. Mine just hit 114k, I bought it with 101k... wasn't as clean as yours when I bought it, but they definitely age very well if taken care of
  9. Actually, even being low, a 'din' aftermarket stereo pushed in to the stock location isn't too far out of reach... I have a Kenwood unit, slid back and it looks like it belongs there... spacing it out, not sure how it would look but if that's something you really are set on doing, then you should be good spacing it out about an inch... with an auto, you have close to 3 or 4 inches of play without interfering with the gear shift... with a manual, probably just a little less... before making a permanent solution, test it out... and making a spacer is fairly easy using mdf or maybe a metal frame unless you're good with fabricating a plastic spacer... good luck
