  1. Hey Kyle, I am looking to sell it. There's a tiny bit of rust on the brackets that attach to the frame but none on the bush guard itself really. I'll try and take some pics today if I get a chance. The previous owner had it installed a little crooked I think, either that or it was slightly bent cause it looked a little offset to me? These are pics I already had, I'll take some more detailed pics
  2. 2004 LE Platinum Edition -Installed my wheels and tires yesterday -Still waiting on my 2" spacers from Fleury's / 4x4 Design -Removed my brush guard and Warn 4" fogs -Plan on installing a led light bar in the lower cutout of the front bumper -Ideally want to replace grill with honeycomb style and paint flat black 16 X 8 Pro Comp Series 51's 6x5.5 with a 4.25 backspacing (plenty of clearance from the spring perch) 265/70/16 General Grabber AT2's - removed the front mud flaps - unscrewed the front of the fender wells, pulled them forward as far as they could and re-attached - trimmed (an inch maybe?) from the front bumper part of the wheel well (it ended up being a little triangle shaped piece, 1" to nothing kind of shape) - still rubs on full reverse lock, barely though, should have no problems with lift spacers installed - rears fit no problem but do make contact with inner wells on full compression of the suspension, found this out on rolling back roads at higher speeds
  3. My personal experience with the Toyo Open Country's was NOT good. Ok in dry road conditions but found them almost useless in heavy rain or snow. Just my 2cents
  4. Love the stubby antenna. Where'd you find that?
  5. pretty old topic, but i just noticed it. I'm located in Van!
  6. Damn, ok. At least nothing is broken
  7. Hey guys, so I'm unsure of whether my sunroof is functioning properly. On the tilt option it seems to only be opening 1/2 - 1" past the roofline. Almost pointless really in terms of a tilt function. I've never owned a pathy before so maybe this is normal? In my VW's and my Audi the tilt would clear the roof by at least 3-4". Pics of said sunroof This arm only seems to be moving to the midway point on the track? Is everything working like it should?
  8. Start a job only to find out the bolts are stuck and you dont have a breaker bar? Play hockey occasionally or regularly? Take your old broken one piece composite hockey stick or shaft and cut down to required length for a quick, very strong, custom breaker bar. Most ratchet handles will fit, some very snug except for the largest 3/4" or 1" drives. Helped me out of a jam more than once, and I have still not actually needed to go out and get a proper breaker bar. I know i should but my old Easton S19 hasnt failed me yet, plus the handle already had a comfortable taped section for my hand
  9. Not trying to hijack this thread but instead of posting a very similar one of my own, I too have been having some major MPG problems. I've owned this truck for close to a month now and going in I knew that its fuel economy would never come close to what I experienced with my Audi. But after 4 fill ups now I am averaging 10.8 mi/gallon?????? Now this driving is mostly city and I dont drive like a grandma so I was assuming I would never get the 15+ miles/gallon claims of some of you guys, but 10.8 seems just down right awful. After the first fill up, I ran a bottle of fuel system cleaner through and the economy never got better. The truck has new plugs, wires, oil change, and transfer case and transmission flushes. The truck only has 68,000mi on it. The second puzzling thing is according to the PDF version of my 2004 owners manual, my fuel capacity should be 79L. I've waited until the empty light has come on and then still driven for a day or so further and have never been able to put more than 62L into the tank upon fill up. I know there is a reserve when the light comes on but 17L's difference???? Am i wrong for thinking somethings wrong here?
  10. Thanks Karmann, I'll see what I can find out.
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Immediate question to anyone with some interior detailing/cleaning experience. It seems to me that the previous owner may have been a painter by trade because after cleaning and conditioning the leather there are little spots of white paint throughout the interior. At a quick glance they look like dust so i figured they would just come out with a good leather cleaner, but no. Does anyone have any recomendations for what i could use to remove the specks of paint without damaging the leather? (I'm assuming anything like acetone, paint thinner, turpentine, etc.. will just destroy the leather so i'm hoping something else will do the trick) pics for reference
  12. Hey everyone, I am the proud new owner of an R50. This is a 2004 LE Platinum with 68,000 miles on it. It is a one owner vehicle and he just imported it from the States. He lived in Seattle before this. I just scooped her up today and couldnt be more happy. I've almost exculsively owned VW's or Audi's prior to this and have loved wrenching on them to make them my own. This should be no different. Plans for now don't include much other than i really good clean, detail, and carpet shampoo. Future plans = small lift, BFG AT's on some steelies (these tires are brand new so that will be a while), some nice fogs on the front, custom projector HID retrofit, and maybe manual hubs in the front. I've been trollin the forums for a while now because I've known that i wanted a Pathy and was just waiting for the right one. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks
