  1. Well, just joined this forum and already got a story for everybody..........did a timing belt about 6k ago...no problems with the installation. About a week ago I noticed that the torque was down so I thought that the timing needed to be adjusted for summer fuel(it is a little different) then rattle rattle rattle..............motor quits. pulled the distributor cap, rotor was not turning. The motor has 270k on it, and sadly I'm not the first to work on it......upsets me when I see people do work to things they don't understand. Long story short, pull it apart and roll over the motor, crank spins ......belt and assembly do not....Will post pics and more info soon.....
  2. What's up kids..........I'm a newbie to the pathfinder experience, but not New to vehicles or upgrades. I got my 94 hardbody about a year and a half ago and fell in love with the old girl. Also New to 4x4 (was a racer and still am for the most part) ......as a family man now, wife wasn't really down with the custom fab car seat in the back of the turbo integi.........with no interior. Se la vi.......and the hunt was on for an suv. Four door. Also the area I live in now IS kinda redneckish.......soooooo, fourwheel drive is a standard not an option. And with everything Chevy, import was defiantly the way to go, just gotta be standalone. Well, that's all for now, from super excited newb..............
