  1. I have tried searching but i haven't really found anything on people installing the headers without a body lift. Is it possible? Is it really hard?? My truck needs a new exhaust and this is the last thing holding me back. Thankyou for the help. And sorry for my lack of research if there is something on it already.. I have tried but i lack time between work and family -Kat
  2. Wouldnt the chunks be metal then? i really dont know, i am still learning. I do think its aluminium chunks. But like i said, i dont know for sure...
  3. Now that i think about it too, it looked like the aluminium.... But.... How would that be in there? :s
  4. Err.. That was bad of me to assume!! I used a magnet, and its not sticking. Proselect, 21361 is the filter

  6. I bought it recently. It had been sitting for a a couple years i believe. I dont remember there being any chunks before, but i was also using a different oil pan. I've just been using napas oil 5w30. I did an oil change as soon as i got it, then again roughly 2000-3000 miles, not km. And this time i did it at 5000 miles... The oil filter that i just changed was a napa one, the one that i first used, and just put on is the fram. Air intake is present, secured, and everything works good there, no leaks. it was changed when i got the truck as well. Though the intake tube was cracked before (we replaced that as well)... But i dont remember chunks before either.
  7. I just did an oil change on my truck, and there are metal chunks. Bigger then sand... I have pictures but i dont know how to post them. So, umm... Help? Please.... It sounds fine. Aside from a bit of lifter noise.
  8. Thank you!!!!!! i would have been very upset if i did that!!!! It would be my luck too
  9. Excellent!! I will give it a shot. Thanks so much
  10. Ya. The whole area is dry outside of it, so thats why i am assuming that. I will try and crack it, but i have read how hard they are so i am not sure if i can but i will try!! If it is dry, could that make it not work?? Im trying to be positive that it works and just needs fluid, but i have read as well, that if it does need fluid, it usually makes noise when it is low/dry.
  11. Hey, if you have the lsd sticker, but its dry, could that just be the problem? I dont hear anything. We did jack it up, and it the other wheel spun in the opposite direction. But i swear that i have felt it at times. i have tried looking up this but i wasnt able to find anything thanks so much for the help!
